Day 1: 06/August/2018 : Cochin - Munnar
Arrival Cochin , Meet our tour coordinator. Transfer to Munnar. Munnar , which is called as " nature lover’s paradise" with sprawling tea plantations. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level, 130 kms from Cochin (4 hrs 30 minutes drive). On the way visit cheeyappara and vallara waterfalls. On arrival here, check into the Resort. After fresh up visit Sengulam dam. Rest of the day free for leisure at resort or optionally you can go for kathakali show , kalaripayittu show, ayurveda massage, elephant ride , walk in to tea plantation etc… and over night stay at resort.
Day 2: 07/August/2018 : Munnar
This days sightseeing can including visit to Mattupetty for boating, Kundala dam, Eco-point, shooting point ,Blossom park, Hydel park , tea museum etc. etc Munnar, once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Govt. in South India, is located at the confluence of 03 rivers as the very name signifies. The sprawling tea plantations and picturesque towns make Munnar a popular hill resort town in South India. Afternoon visit to Rajamala or Eravikulam National Park. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 3: 08/August/2018 : Munnar - Thekkady
After the breakfast by 09.00 am ,check out from the resort and proceed to the wildlife sanctuary at Periyar/Thekkady (Munnar – Thekkady : 110 km/3 hour’s drive) and check in at the Resort. Evening cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a number of unique birds. Later, return to the hotel; relax & enjoy your stay overnight.
Day 4: 09/August/2018 : Thekkady - Alleppey (Houseboat)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the Houseboat embarkation point Alleppey 170 km / 04.30 hour’s drive. The Kerala houseboats used to form an inseparable ingredient of the way of life in Kerala, this traditional boat is locally called as Kettuvallom. Check-in to the exclusive houseboat. Your private boat will be facilitated with bed rooms, bath rooms, living area, sun deck, dining and beautiful corridor. The boat will also have a Kitchen that prepares all your meals onboard. This full day cruise will include all your meals and an overnight stay on board. A Journey through the curving and winding Kerala backwaters in houseboats ( Kettuvallam / Boat House ) of Kerala is an experience of returning to nature. Full day cruise and overnight stay onboard. Your houseboat will cruise regions of Vembanadu lake, Pathiramanal island, R-block, Punnamada lake, Kainakari, and many other regions of Kuttanadu and Alapuzha .The boat will be anchored in the lake for overnight stay.
Day 5: 10/August/2018 : Cochin departure
After a refreshing breakfast proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Cochin. Sightseeing places includes Jewish Synagogue, Dutch palace, Chinese fishing nets, Marine drive for boating, Fort Cochi beach,St.Francis Basilica,Mattancherry etc .
