Day 1: Acclimatization
Welcome to Leh Acclimatization Arrive at Leh airport in the morning, from where you’ll be guided to your hotel in a private cab. Let the jagged mountains mesmerise you as you enter Leh. On reaching, check into your hotel and rest for the day to acclimatize to the high altitude of the region. At night, have a scrumptious dinner at your hotel and sleep peacefully.
Day 2: Local sightseeing
Wake up feeling refreshed and all set for you first adventure in Leh.After a scrumptious breakfast, we travel 70 KMS to the Alchi Monastery home to the Tibetan buddhist order of monks.On the way witness the Magnetic Hill,Militiary Hall of Fame,Maitreya statues of Buddha and the most beautiful confluence of the Zanksar and Indus rivers at Nimoo.Stay for the night is arranged at our hotel.
Day 3: Day trip to World's highest Motorable Road ( KHARDUNG LA )
With your first experience in Ladakh behind your back, fill up some confidence for today because this is not for the faint-hearted. We are going to be climbing up to the highest motorable road in the world at 18,000 feet-the famous Khardung La pass. One of the most photographed monasteries, Thiksey monastery is introduced to you in the afternoon. Interact with the monks and get to know how they live throughout the year with the barren landscape and picturesque giving them company. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: The blue waters of Pangong Lake
Get your cameras ready! We are going to Pangong Lake, a beautiful high altitude lake in the Himalayas bordering both India and Tibet. Play in the waters, click pictures and watch the sun set as you see the various hues and shades of nature pass by in the hills and water below. This will be your last night in Ladakh so make sure to make it memorable!
Day 5: Memorable Goodbye to Ladakh!
Bid adieu to the "Land of High Passes" as we proceed to the KBR airport from our hotel. We hope you carry buckeloads of memories for a lifetime.
