5 Nights 6 Days Home Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVE SRINAGAR
Meet upon arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer to Hotel.After fresh up at Hotel / Houseboat proceed for sightseeing of Mughal gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure), built by Asif Khan brother-in-law of Jahangir in 1632 AD, Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. These beautiful mountains are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background.
Day 2: SRINAGAR - SONAMARG – SRINAGAR
After breakfast, leave for full day excursion of Sonamarg “Meadows of Gold†which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. (84 Km/2 ½ hrs/). Sonamarg is located at a height of 2690 meters. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. It serves as the base for the treks to Harmukh range via Nichnai
Day 3: SRINAGAR – GULMARG - SRINAGAR
After breakfast check out of the Hotel and proceed to Gulmarg, Meadow of Flowers (56 km /2 hrs) situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, Arrive Gulmarg and check in at Hotel for overnight stay
Day 4: SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM
After breakfast check out of the Hotel at Gulmarg and proceed to Pahalgam (7200 ft) “Village of Shepherds†for overnight stay. (140 km / 3 1/2 hrs) Enroute visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields,
Day 5: PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR
After breakfast check out from hotel and visit Betab valley , Aru Valley & Chandan Vari ( On direct payment basis). Later drive back to Srinagar for overnight stay. Arrive Srinagar and check in at Houseboat.
Day 6: SRINAGAR DEPARTURE
After breakfast transfer to Srinagar airport to board flight for onward destination.
