Day 1: Day 1: Arrive in Cochin - Munnar
Once your arrival at Cochin airport, our rep will assist you in getting transferred to the hotel. cochin is a major port city, situated on the west coast of Peninsular India. It is surrounded by the Arabian Sea on the west and the Western Ghats on the east. This unique location has earned Cochin several renowned titles like 'Queen of the Arabian Sea' and 'Gateway to Kerala'. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the breathtaking scenic beauty and age-old charm of the state. Once you reach Munnar, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Thereafter, the remaining day is free for leisure activities in the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Day 2: Sightseeing in Munnar
Leave the hotel to explore the scenic land of Munnar. Start the excursion with a visit to Eravikulam National Park(Closed 1 Feb to till 31 March), which is the most prominent attraction of this region. It covers an area of approximately 97 square kilometers and is home to various elusive and endangered species. It is a great place to enjoy trekking and offers mind-blowing views of the tea plantations. After exploring this park, proceed towards Tea Museum [closed on Monday], which gives an insight into the history of tea plantations of this region. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Flower Garden. Return to the hotel in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Day 3: Drive from Munnar to Thekkady (130 km/approx. 4 hours)
Embark on a road journey to Thekkady (Periyar).Located on the Western Ghats, Thekkady is amous for its natural reserves and spice plantations.The region is an abode to varied animal species, including tiger, elephants, spotted deer, langur, sambar and wild boar. A tour of Kerala is incomplete without visiting this place that offers ample opportunities for leisure activities like a boat ride on the Periyar Lake, excursion to Periyar National Park and visits to spice plantations.Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for some time.
