After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady. En route visit Nedumkandam Chillies Spice Garden for a brief spice plantation tour. You may also indulge in spice shopping (on direct payment basis). There are various kinds of spices cultivated in Thekkady. The most abundantly found spice in Thekkady is pepper. Also, there is a variety of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric and curry leaves on the slanting slopes of the spice plantations in Thekkady. Arrive in Thekkady & check-in to your hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat ride (to be paid directly ) on Periyar Lake situated inside the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is synonymous with wildlife and nature treks. In the evening, visit the theatre (non air-conditioned) to have a first hand experience of arts and crafts through the traditional Kalari Show (on direct payment basis). After that, you can either shop in the local market or opt for an elephant ride (on direct payment basis). With its beautiful beaches and wonderful ambience, Kovalam simply delights every visitor. On arriving at Trivandrum, halt at a good restaurant to fill your appetite (on your own). After that visit Napier Museum and zoological park, a walk through the lush green zoo will be a memorable experience. (Closed on Mondays). Also visit Padmanabh Swami Temple at Trivandrum. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check-in to the hotel and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, stroll down the beautiful beaches of Kovalam. Visit the Kovalam beach that has been divided into three parts - Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach and the Samudra Beach. Also, have a look at the Vizhinjam Lighthouse and Mosque besides some other attractions located around the beach. Also, set out to enjoy some beach activities at the Kovalam beach. You must drive back to Kovalam by evening and take rest. Or Opt for a rejuvenating Ayurvedic body massage (on direct payment basis) or simply enjoy the facilities offered by the resort.
