8 Nights 9 Days Home Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Guwahati - Kaziranga
Arrival at Guwahati we move to Kaziranga. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 2: Kaziranga
Early morning go for Elephant ride in the park. (Elephant riding time: 1st Ride- 5.15-6.15 AM; 2nd ride: 6.30-7.30 am) Apart from the Rhino, other species found are hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants and if you are lucky, the tiger. It is virtually a paradise for bird watchers, with a variety of migratory and resident birds. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Afternoon enjoy Jeep safari in the Central Range. Kaziranga is a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, crisscrossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and the park includes numerous small bodies of water. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga - Bomdila
After breakfast check-out from hotel drive to Bomdila. Check-in to hotel. Later visit place like Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa), Bomdila View Point. Bomdila offers wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan Landscapes and Snow clad ranges. overnight stay at Bomdila.
Day 4: Bomdila - Tawang
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Tawang. En-route visit War cemetery and continue with the drive till you reach Sela pass at an altitude of 4114m / 13494 ft. It is famous for high altitude Lakes & scenic beauty & is ideal for ice skating during winter. Check-in at hotel. Overnight at Tawang.
Day 5: Tawang
Full day city Tour. After breakfast visit Tawang Monstery and Sungester Lake(alt 14500ft) which was formed in 1950, following a major earthquake. It is better known as Madhuri Lake after the actress of the same name who came here for a shoot of the film “Koylaâ€. Evening return back to hotel.
Day 6: Tawang - Dirang
After early morning breakfast check-out hotel and drive to Dirang. En-route visit Tippi on the banks of the river Jia Bharali at an elevation of 190 mtrs is Tipi, an orchidarium with over 7500 orchids. On display are some of the finest species with names like the dainty lady's slipper or the more formal sounding Dendrobium. Arunachal has the largest range of orchids in the country. Overnight stay at Dirang.
Day 7: Dirang - Nameri
After Breakfast proceed towards Nameri National Park. Over night at Nameri
Day 8: Nameri - Guwahati
Morning After breakfast Proceed towards Guwahati. Than Visit to Kamakhaya Temple , Balaji Temple Evening you can visit to Kalakhetra where you will get to see more about Assamese culture.
Day 9: Guwahati depature
Morning After Breakfast check out from Hotel. Proceed to Airport as per flight timing.
