9 Nights 10 Days Home Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Jammu Railway Station – Katra
On arrival at Jammu Railway Station, you will be met our representative at the Station and transfers you to Katra. Check in to the Hotel. Overnight stay in Katra.
Day 2: Katra– Vaishno Devi Darshan
Morning after breakfast trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine (12kms), Take the Helicopter for the Shrine. Ponies can also be arranged by self for the trek, return back to Katra late in evening/night, dinner and overnight stay at Katra. Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti and is the second most visited religious shrine in India after Tirupati Balaji Temple.
Day 3: Katra to Srinagar
After your Breakfast you will Transfers to Srinagar Via Nasheri Tunnel . Reaching at Srinagar you will proceed for Houseboat for Check In . Later Enjoying shikara Ride t famous Dal lake . Dinner & Overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 4: Srinagar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. We will explore the gardens and later drive back to the houseboat for a inner and Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Sonmarg Day Trip
After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg. Cross the town of Kangan, Mammar, Gagangir. Once you reach Sonamarg, take a 3 hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier. After return, visit the small town market. Drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6: Gulmarg Day Trip
After breakfast, proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system (the 08 minutes ropeway). After Gondola Ride Proceed back to Srinagar over night stay at Hotel.
Day 7: Doodhpatheri Day Trip
Doodhpathri, valley of milk, located in Budgam district, lies in bowl shaped valley in Pir Panjal Range. Its an alpine valley covered with snowclad mountains. Not a lot of tourists come to this place, since the road conditions are not favorable. After some quiet and peaceful time at Doodhpathri, be back to Srinagar for overnight stay.
Day 8: Srinagar to Pahalgam
After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 9: In Pahalgam
After the Breakfast In Pahalgam, visit Betaab Valley, Aru and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows (at your own cost) than in the evening proceed back to Hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 10: Pahalgham to Jammu Railway Station Departure .
After the Breakfast you will proceed for Jammu Railway Station for Departure .
