Day 1: Nainital

Day 2: Nainital Lake Tour

Day 4: Kausani
Kausani is a picturesque hill station, tucked away in the mountainous district of Bageshwar. This tiny hamlet is widely recognised for its pristine natural beauty and, most importantly, the sweeping panorama of the Himalayan ranges, painted in different hues of the sun. It was even referred to as the 'Switzerland of India' by Mahatma Gandhi, during his brief stay in the hill station. On reaching Kausani, check-in at the hotel and sleep the night away for removing the fatigue.
Day 5: Kausani local Sightseeing
In the morning, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour, which would take you to the revered Baijnath Temple and Kausani tea plantations. Situated just a few kilometres away from the hill station, Baijnath is a small hamlet known for its conglomeration of ancient temples. The most significant shrine in this group is the Baijnath Temple – dedicated to Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati. Constructed somewhere in the 12th century, this temple was built under the patronage of the regional Katyuri kings and is made of stone. The next place to explore is Kausani Tea Estate, where the local Girias tea is grown, processed and then exported to various countries. You can take a walk through the green contours of these plantations and know about the entire process of producing tea. After an exhilarating day trip, return to the hotel and have your meals, followed by a good night's sleep.
