Day 1: ARRIVAL AT JAMMU
You will be met by our ZIPPGO TRAVELS INDIA representative at the Jammu. . He will assist and transfer you to the Hotel Arrive Katra and check in at Hotel, freshen up and relax at the luxury of royal hospitality. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: KATRA-MATA VAISHNO DEVI DARSHAN
Today after breakfast proceed to Vaishnodevi Shrine (Approx. 13 km Trek ) One can trek up to the Shrine if fitness permits, otherwise Pony or Palanquins are also available at an extra cost. Arrive at Vaishnodevi Bhawan. Wash and change before Mata Darshan. Overnight Stay & dinner at hotel in Katra.
Day 3: KATRA-PAHALGAM
After breakfast proceed to Pahalgam (The valley of shepherds). En-route, visiting the saffron fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), and enjoy the beautiful countryside.Drive throught the pine forests. Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy Lidder stream. Later walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. Overnight Stay & dinner at hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 4: PAHALGAM
At the foothills of the mountains in Pahalgam, you can feel how dominant is the span of nature. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feets and dominates the entire region, also enjoy cable car (Gondola) for mountain ride upto khilangmarg. Day 7: SRINAGAR-SONAMARG-SRINAGAR
Today after Breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Sonmarg (Golden Meadow). Sonmarg lies in Sind Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonmarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding upto Thajiwas glacier and sledge riding on snow (on direct payment).. Day 8: DEPARTURE
