5 Nights 6 Days Leh-Ladakh Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Leh
Arrival at Leh airport and get transferred to your hotel. Take the entire day to acclimatize to the high altitude. Later in the evening you may choose to visit Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your hotel in Leh.
Day 2: Leh Indus Valley monasteries
"Today visit: Hemis Monastery - believed to be the wealthiest and biggest monastery in Leh, Shanti Stupa - built to promote world peace and prosperity and to commemorate 2500 years of Buddhism also visit Hall of Fame War Museum. Thiksey Monastery - Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk. Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh & 3 Idiots School Campus. Evening visit Leh Palace. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh."
Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
On this day, you’ll travel to the much awaited Nubra Valley. After an early morning breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, the highest motorable road in the World (18,380 ft). By the afternoon, you’ll reach Nubra where you can enjoy the camel safari in the sand dunes. Later you can explore Deskit & Hunder Villages before settling in your camp for the night.Â
Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
Have an early morning breakfast and leave for Pangong Lake, perched at an altitude of 14,500 ft. On the way you’ll cross Chang La (17,350 ft), 3rd Highest Motorable road in the world. Arrival at your camp by afternoon. Spend leisurely time by the lake and witness hues of the color changing lake as it shimmers with the setting sun. Overnight stay at your camp by Pangong Lake.
Day 5: Back to Leh
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the picturesque view of the sunrise over Pangong lake. After breakfast drive back to Leh, en route visit Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace. Reach Leh late in the evening. Have dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Leh.
Day 6: Leave for Home
In the morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel, get transferred to Leh airport to board a flight back home. Your journey has come to an end.Â
