Day 2 · Darjeeling
Darjeeling: Local city tour
Gear up for a scintillating local city tour on the second day. Begin your second day in Darjeeling early as you are taken for a mesmerizing city tour, included in your itinerary for Sikkim Gangtok Darjeeling. Your first stop for the day is the scenic Tiger Hill from where you can witness the captivating sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. Visit the Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and Peace Pagoda on your way back to the hotel. Relish a hearty breakfast after which you will be taken for a local city tour of Darjeeling. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute which was established in the 1950s to promote mountaineering in India. Other points of interest include the National History Museum, Tenzing Rock and the beautiful Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. Come back after an elaborate day of sightseeing and have a good night’s sleep. Tip: Don’t forget to try the Darjeeling tea while on your city tour.

Day 3 · Gangtok
Gangtok: Arrival and city tour
Arrive at the idyllic town of Gangtok today. Savor a delectable breakfast with your family after which you will be transferred to the mesmerizing town of Gangtok as part of your Gangtok Darjeeling tour itinerary. Complete the check-in formalities and relax in your room before proceeding for a city tour. Your first stop for the day is the Do Drul Chorten stupa in Gangtok which is surrounded by 108 prayer wheels. Take in the tranquility around you and spend quality time with your kids. Also visit the Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Research Institute of Tibetology, and Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom. Come back to your hotel in Gangtok and have a good night’s sleep.
