Day 1 Phuentsholing
PICK UP PURNIA AIRPORT TO PHUENTSHOLING DROP
Meet & Greet on the time of arrival after reaching Jaigaon / Phuentsholing from Purnia Airport & transfer to Phuentsholing – The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. Phuentsholing is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the Hotel. Overnight at Phuentsholing.

Day 2 Thimphu
PHUENTSHOLING TO THIMPHU (172 KM-5/6hrs)
After breakfast, complete immigration formalities and begin your scenic drive to Thimphu (7,710 ft.), the charming capital of Bhutan. On the way, you may stop to visit the beautiful Kharbandi Monastery, enjoy a cascading roadside waterfall, and take in stunning views of the Chhukha Dam. On arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. The evening is free for you to relax or explore at leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 Thimphu
THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast visit outer view Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), Hindu Tempel, Outer view of National Memorial Chorten (Monument) and Simply Bhutan, Zorig Chusum & Jungshi Handmade Paper factory Afternoon visit Nunnery, Takin Preserve Center, National Library, Centenary Farmer Market (Handicraft product and Local product can be Found here. Craft Bazar for shopping can be seen here. In the evening the Tashichhoe Dzong Outer view. Spending the night in Thimphu adds to the allure, allowing you to appreciate the city’s charm as day turns to night to halt at Thimphu.

Day 4 Thimphu
THIMPHU LEISURE
Exploring Thimphu at your own pace You can relax by strolling along the Wang Chhu riverfront and wandering the vibrant local town area, enjoying coffee, casual shopping, and observing the unique, traditional character of the Bhutanese capital.
The River Side (Wang Chhu)Chang Yul Park: This tranquil riverside park features paved loops and boardwalks. It is a lovely, quiet spot to watch the clear water of the Wang Chhu River flow by or relax on floating decks.
Coronation Park: Located along the river, this is where locals go for fresh mountain air and calm, tree-lined nature walks away from busy vehicles.Leisurely Strolls: The pathways are flat and lined with traditional wooden bridges and prayer flags, making it the perfect setting for a quiet morning or afternoon walk.
The Main Town AreaNorzin Lam: This is the city's main commercial artery. It is highly walkable and lined with traditional Bhutanese architecture, boutique shops, and local bookshops.
Clock Tower Square: The lively beating heart of the town. This area is surrounded by cozy coffee shops and restaurants. It is a great place to sit, people-watch, and observe residents going about their day.
The Craft Bazaar: Located along Norzin Lam, this colorful open-air market is filled with local artisans selling handmade goods, textiles, and traditional crafts directly to the community.
Café Culture: Thimphu boasts a thriving café scene. You can spend hours relaxing at Ambient Cafe, Elsewhere Art And Cafe, or Central Cafe, sipping organic Bhutanese coffee and sampling local baked goods. -
Day 5 Punakha
THIMPHU TO PUNAKHA (77Km-3hrs)
Embark on a picturesque journey from Thimphu to Punakha, covering 73 kilometers in approximately 3 hours. Departing after breakfast, the scenic drive unveils the breathtaking Dochula Pass en route to Punakha, situated at an altitude of 1300m/4265ft. Blessed with fertile lands from the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, Punakha showcases its natural beauty and cultural richness. Commencing in the morning, your exploration begins with Punakha Dzong, the ‘Palace of Great Happiness,’ built in the 17th century and now serving as the winter residence for Je Khenpo, the head abbot, and a community of 1,000 monks. Afternoon ventures include a visit to the historic Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of Bhutan’s oldest, and Chimi Lhakhang, the 15th-century Temple of Fertility. This pilgrimage site for couples concludes your day. As evening descends, immerse yourself in Punakha’s rich history and natural splendor, with an overnight stay allowing you to savor the tranquility of this captivating valley.

Day 6 Punakha
PUNAKHA EXCURSION TO PHOBJIKHA VALLEY
After Breakfast Morning Drive from Punakha to Gangtay (Phobjika) Sight Seeing Which also spelt Phobjika, the suffix kha means valley in Dzongkha) is a vast U- shaped glacial Valley. Also known as Gangtey Valley named after the impressive Gangtey Monastery of the Niangua sect in Central Bhutan, where the Graceful Black- necked Cranes in Bhutan (Grus nigricollis) from the Tibetan Plateau visit the valley during the winter season to roost. After that head head towards Punakha overnight stay at Punakha.

Day 7 Paro
PUNAKHA TO PARO (115KM-3hrs)
This morning we take our return drive to Paro drop and on arrival check in the Hotel and night Halt

Day 8 Paro
PARO SIGHTSEEING
This morning we will visit the perfectly symmetrical Rinpung Dzong, built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the first spiritual and temporal ruler of Bhutan. Also will be visiting the Ta Dzong – situated on the hill side, is the castle-shaped, one time watch tower built to defend Rinpung Dzong during inter-valley wars of the 17th Century, now holds the National Museum. Later in the day we will be taken on an excursion tour, about eighteen kilometers from Paro town on south side of the valley to the burnt ruins of Drugyel Dzong (victorious fortress). It was from this monastery that the Bhutanese repelled several invading Tibetan armies during the 17th Century. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 9 Paro
PARO EXCURSION TO CHELE LA PASS
After breakfast drive to Chele-La-Pass (13,088 ft.) – the highest motor able road in Bhutan. Enjoy the scenic beauty & memorable landscapes from Chele-La-Pass.Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 10 Phuentsholing
PARO TO PHUENTSHOLING (142km-5hrs)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and embark on a picturesque drive back to Phuentsholing. This scenic journey takes you through winding mountain roads, lush valleys, cascading waterfalls, and charming Bhutanese villages — offering countless moments to soak in the serene beauty of the countryside. As you descend from the cool highlands of Paro to the warmer foothills near the southern border, witness the gradual change in landscapes and climate, making the drive a truly memorable part of your Bhutan experience. Upon arrival in Phuentsholing, the evening is yours to unwind at leisure. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
