Day 2 Paro
EXCURSION TO THIMPHU – THE VIBRANT CAPITAL
After breakfast, embark on a memorable journey to Thimphu, the charming capital of Bhutan and home to the royal family. Begin with a visit to the majestic Buddha Point, followed by Simply Bhutan—a vibrant living museum showcasing traditional culture. Enjoy panoramic views from BBS Tower before exploring the serene National Memorial Chorten and the ancient Changangkha Monastery. Meet Bhutan’s national animal, the takin, at the National Zoo, then discover heritage treasures at the National Library and shop for local crafts at the bustling Handicraft Market. Later, take a scenic drive back to Paro for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Paro
PARO – EXCURSION TO TAKSANG MONASTERY HIKING
After breakfast, embark on a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, famously known as the Tiger’s Nest. Perched dramatically on the edge of a steep cliff at an altitude of 3,180 meters, it stands as Bhutan’s most renowned and sacred monastery. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche, the revered spiritual master, is believed to have flown to this site on the back of a tigress and meditated in a cave where the monastery now resides. With its breathtaking location, approximately 900 meters above Paro Valley, the journey offers unparalleled views and a profound spiritual experience. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 4 Paro
PARO FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING
After a delightful breakfast, begin your local sightseeing tour with a visit to Ta Dzong, a historic fortified watchtower that now houses the National Museum, offering fascinating artifacts and panoramic views. Next, take a leisurely walk down the trail to Rinpung Dzong, meaning ‘Fortress of the Heap of Jewels,’ an architectural marvel perched beside the Paro River. Continue your journey to Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples where spirituality and history intertwine. Later, explore the ruins of Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), built in 1646 to celebrate Bhutan’s triumph over Tibetan invaders. On a clear day, you can marvel at the majestic Mount Jomolhari, Bhutan’s second-highest peak at 7,314 meters. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay in Paro.
