Meet & Greet on the time of arrival after reaching Jaigaon / Phuentsholing from Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Phuentsholing – The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. Phuentsholing is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the Hotel. Overnight at Phuentsholing.

Day 2 · Thimphu
PHUENTSHOLING TO THIMPHU (172 KM-5/6hrs)
After breakfast, complete immigration formalities and begin your scenic drive to Thimphu (7,710 ft.), the charming capital of Bhutan. On the way, you may stop to visit the beautiful Kharbandi Monastery, enjoy a cascading roadside waterfall, and take in stunning views of the Chhukha Dam. PARO – EXCURSION TO TAKSANG MONASTERY HIKING
After breakfast, embark on a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, famously known as the Tiger’s Nest. Perched dramatically on the edge of a steep cliff at an altitude of 3,180 meters, it stands as Bhutan’s most renowned and sacred monastery. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche, the revered spiritual master, is believed to have flown to this site on the back of a tigress and meditated in a cave where the monastery now resides.
