Day 1 Phuentsholing
Siliguri/Bagdogra to Pheuntsholing
Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Bagdogra Airport by our Indian driver. From here, enjoy a scenic drive through the lush tea gardens of West Bengal, offering a refreshing start to your Bhutan trip.
Upon arrival at Phuentsholing, you will walk through the Bhutan Immigration Terminal to complete entry formalities. Our team will assist you with pre-registration for the Free SDF (Sustainable Development Fee).
After check-in at your hotel, explore:
• Zangtopelri Lhakhang – a peaceful temple symbolizing Guru Rinpoche’s paradise.
• Leisure walk in Phuentsholing town – experience local markets and Bhutanese lifestyle.

Day 2 Thimphu
Phuentsholing to Thimphu
After completing immigration formalities in the morning, begin your drive to Thimphu.
En route, enjoy scenic stops:
• Kharbandi Goenpa – beautiful hilltop monastery with panoramic views.
• Phuentsholing Viewpoint – overlooking the Indo-Bhutan border.
• Gedu town & Gedu Stupa – peaceful university town in the mountains.
• Chukha Dam & waterfall – impressive hydroelectric project views.
• Chhuzom – where Thimphu and Paro rivers meet, marked by three unique stupas.
Arrive in Thimphu and relax at your hotel.

Day 3 Punakha
Thimphu Sightseeing & Transfer to Punakha
Morning – Thimphu Sightseeing:
• Buddha Dordenma – massive statue overlooking the valley.
• Simply Bhutan Museum – experience Bhutanese traditions, food, and culture.
• Motithang Takin Preserve – home to Bhutan’s national animal, the Takin.
Afternoon – Drive to Punakha:
• Cross the breathtaking Dochula Pass (3,100m), famous for 108 chortens and Himalayan views.
• Visit Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of the Divine Madman.
Optional: river rafting at punakha (cost exclusive)
Arrive in Punakha.
Overnight: Punakha -
Day 4 Paro
Punakha to Paro
Start your day with a visit to:
• Punakha Dzong – one of Bhutan’s most stunning and historically important fortresses.
• Walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge – the longest in Bhutan with beautiful river views.
Later, drive to Paro.
In Paro, enjoy:
• Scenic stops at Shaba River & Neymizampa area.
• Paro Airport Viewpoint – watch planes land between mountains (one of the world’s most challenging airports).

Day 5 Paro
Paro Sightseeing
Today is the highlight of your Bhutan journey.
• Hike to Paro Taktsang – Bhutan’s most iconic monastery perched on a cliff at 3,120m.
• The hike takes around 4–5 hours round trip.
• Optional horse ride available till midway (extra cost).
After the hike:
• Relax at a local café with stunning views.
• Optional traditional hot stone bath for relaxation.

Day 6 Phuentsholing
Paro to Phuntsholing
Morning sightseeing in Paro:
• Rinpung Dzong – a beautiful example of Bhutanese architecture.
• National Museum of Bhutan – showcasing Bhutan’s rich history and heritage.
Later, drive back to Phuentsholing with scenic mountain views.
Overnight stay in Phuentsholing -
Day 7
Phuentsholing to Bagdogra – Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s culture, landscapes, and spirituality.
