Breakfast in the Hotel. Complete the immigration formalities. Drive to Kharbandi Gompa. Proceed to Thimphu. Enroute drive through picturesque towns of Gedu, Chukha, and Chuzom. Arrival in Thimphu. Visit Tashichho Dzong (seat of the government since 1952 and presently houses the throne room and offices of the king). Check into the hotel. Confluence of Paro Chu & Thimphu Chu.
