Day 2 Thimphu
Day 2:Phuentsholing to Thimphu – Scenic Drive & En Route Sightseeing
Complete immigration formalities in Phuentsholing, then begin your drive to Thimphu through scenic mountain roads.
Along the way:
* Visit Kharbandi Monastery for sweeping views of the Phuentsholing Valley.
* Stop at Gedu town for a brief exploration.
* Admire the engineering marvel of Chukka Bridge.

Day 3 Thimphu

Spend the day exploring Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital, known for its unique blend of tradition and modernity.
Morning Sightseeing:
- Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point) – Visit this magnificent 169-foot golden statue of Buddha, perched on a hill offering breathtaking panoramic views of Thimphu valley.
- Memorial Chorten – A sacred stupa built in memory of Bhutan’s third king, known for its stunning architecture and spiritual significance. Locals can be seen walking around it, chanting prayers.

Day 4 Punakha
Day 4: Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass
Start your journey from Thimphu to Punakha, passing through the breathtaking Dochula Pass (3,100m), which offers panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain ranges.
En Route Sightseeing at Dochula Pass:
- Stop at the 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens, a cluster of stupas built in memory of Bhutanese soldiers.

Exploring Punakha’s Attractions:

Day 5 Paro
Day 5: Punakha to Paro – Enroute Sightseeing & Transfer
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Paro, enjoying a scenic drive through picturesque valleys and mountains.
En route attractions:
- Wangdue Phodrang Dzong (if open) – A historic fortress under reconstruction, offering insights into Bhutanese architecture.
- Tamchog Lhakhang – A sacred 15th-century temple, accessible via a beautiful iron chain bridge.

Day 6 Paro
Day 6: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Trek & City Tour
After an early breakfast, embark on the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery) trek – a challenging yet incredibly rewarding hike to Bhutan’s most famous monastery, perched dramatically on a cliffside. The round-trip trek takes approximately 5–6 hours.
Later, if time permits, enjoy half-day sightseeing in Paro, which may include:
- Paro Beer Factory – Taste locally brewed Bhutanese beer.
- Paro Airport Viewpoint – Witness one of the world’s most scenic landings.

Day 7 Phuentsholing
Day 7: Excursion to Chele La Pass & Return to Phuentsholing
After breakfast, drive to Chele La Pass (3,988m) – the highest motorable pass in Bhutan. Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, and on a clear day, you may even catch a glimpse of Mt. Jomolhari and parts of Tibet. The pass is known for its natural beauty and prayer flag-laden landscape, making it a serene and scenic stop.
Later, begin your journey back to Phuentsholing. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 8: Departure to Bagdogra Airport for Flight Back Home
