Day 1 Phuentsholing
PICK UP BAGDOGRA TO PHUENTSHOLING (161km-4hrs)
Meet & Greet on the time of arrival after reaching Jaigaon / Phuentsholing from Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Phuentsholing – The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. Phuentsholing is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the Hotel. Overnight at Phuentsholing.

Day 2 Thimphu
PHUENTSHOLING TO THIMPHU (172 KM-5/6hrs)
After breakfast, complete immigration formalities and begin your scenic drive to Thimphu (7,710 ft.), the charming capital of Bhutan. On the way, you may stop to visit the beautiful Kharbandi Monastery, enjoy a cascading roadside waterfall, and take in stunning views of the Chhukha Dam. On arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. The evening is free for you to relax or explore at leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 Thimphu
THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING
Embark on an exciting journey through Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital and the residence of the royal family. Start your day with a visit to Buddha Point and Simply Bhutan, a living museum showcasing traditional Bhutanese life. Explore religious sites like the National Memorial Chorten,National Institute for Zorig Chusum and the historic Chang Gangkha Monastery. Nature lovers shouldn’t miss the National Zoo with its unique national animal, the takin. Discover Bhutan’s spiritual side at the National Library, centenary farmers market and enjoy the local crafts at the Handicraft Market. In the evening, experience the grandeur of TashiChhodzong, the secretariat building and throne room of His Majesty. Spending the night in Thimphu adds to the allure, allowing you to appreciate the city’s charm as day turns to night to halt at Thimphu.

Day 4 Punakha
THIMPHU TO PUNAKHA (77Km-3hrs)
Embark on a picturesque journey from Thimphu to Punakha, covering 73 kilometers in approximately 3 hours. Departing after breakfast, the scenic drive unveils the breathtaking Dochula Pass en route to Punakha, situated at an altitude of 1300m/4265ft. Blessed with fertile lands from the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, Punakha showcases its natural beauty and cultural richness. Commencing in the morning, your exploration begins with Punakha Dzong, the ‘Palace of Great Happiness,’ built in the 17th century and now serving as the winter residence for Je Khenpo, the head abbot, and a community of 1,000 monks. Afternoon ventures include a visit to the historic Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of Bhutan’s oldest, and Chimi Lhakhang, the 15th-century Temple of Fertility. This pilgrimage site for couples concludes your day. As evening descends, immerse yourself in Punakha’s rich history and natural splendor, with an overnight stay allowing you to savor the tranquility of this captivating valley.

Day 5 Paro
PUNAKHA TO PARO (115km-3hrs)
Morning after breakfast, drive for Paro with Local Sight Seeing Visit Tachogang lhakhang bridge,Ta Dzong, once a fortified lookout tower that is now the National Museum. Then walk down the trail to visit the Rinpung Dzong meaning “fortress of the heap of jewels”. Next visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. From there you will be taken to the Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), which was built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over Tibetan invaders during the 1600s . Day 6 Paro
PARO – EXCURSION TO TAKSANG MONASTERY HIKING OR PARO EXCURSION TO CHELE-LA-PASS
After breakfast, embark on a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, famously known as the Tiger’s Nest. Perched dramatically on the edge of a steep cliff at an altitude of 3,180 meters, it stands as Bhutan’s most renowned and sacred monastery. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche, the revered spiritual master, is believed to have flown to this site on the back of a tigress and meditated in a cave where the monastery now resides. With its breathtaking location, approximately 900 meters above Paro Valley, the journey offers unparalleled views and a profound spiritual experience. Overnight stay in Paro.

After breakfast drive to Chele-La-Pass (13,088 ft.) – the highest motor able road in Bhutan. Enjoy the scenic beauty & memorable landscapes from Chele-La-Pass. Back to Paro. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Paro. -
Day 7 Phuentsholing
PARO TO PHUENTSHOLING (161km-5hrs)
After Breakfast check out from hotel and drive back towards Phuentsholing on the view Point sightseeing drop and on arrival check in the Hotel and night Halt.

PHUENTSHOLING TO BAGDOGRA/NJP (161.4km- 4hrs)
