  1. Day 1 Phuentsholing

    Arrival at Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station

    On arrival in Bagdogra/NJP Station, met by our representative and drive to Phuntsholing.
    Evening, as the time permits, visit Zangthopheri Temple and Bhutan Gate.
    Later take a stroll around Phuentsholing market

  2. Day 2 Thimphu

    Phuntsholing to Thimphu

    Morning proceed to Thimphu, the modern capital town of Bhutan. 4km ahead of Phuentsholing, visit Kharbandi Gompa, beautiful Overnight monastery situated in garden of tropical plants and flowers. On the way, stop over Gude Town, Damchu Water Fall and Chozom.
    Nearby Thimphu, visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the kingdom which now houses the School for religious and cultural studies.

  3. Day 3 Thimphu

    Thimphu Sightseeing

    Morning drive to BBS Tower for fascinating view of Thimphu valley and later visit mini zoo(Takin Preserve Center), Tashi Chho Dong, Buddha Point(Kuensel Phodrang), Memorial Chorten (stupa) and Simply Bhutan- The Living museum when you can enjoy the cultural dance of Bhutan.
    Afternoon, as the time permits, visit to School of Arts & Crafts, Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Museum and Handicrafts Emporium(Craft Bazzer) later evening visit and Chang Yul Park.

  4. Day 4 Punakha

    Thimphu to Punakha

    Early morning after breakfast drive to Punakha, En-route stopover at Dochula Pass where 108 Chorten was built by the present Queen Mother of Bhutan Ashi Dorji Wangmo to commemorate Bhutan’s over Indians militants and to liberate the soul of the soldiers lost. Punakha Dzong: Built-in 1637, the dzong continues to be the winter for the clergy, headed by Chief Abbott, the Je Khenpo. It is a stunning example of Bhutanese architecture, sitting at the fork of two rivers portraying the image of the medieval city from a distance. The dzong was destroyed by fires and glacial floods over the years but has been carefully restored and is today a fine example of Bhutanese craftsmanship. Longest suspensory bridge of the Kingdom. If possible go for river rafting.

  6. Day 6 Phobjikha Valley

    Punakha to Phobjikha/Gangtay

    After breakfast visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten(Monastery) and Chimmi Lakhang- The Fertility Temple and drive to Gangtey / Phobjikha. In the mountains east of Wangduephodrang lies the beautiful Phobjikha valley, on the slopes of which is situated the great monastery of Gangtey, established in the 17th century. The village of Phobjikha lies a few km, down from the monastery, on the valley floor. This quiet, remote valley is the winter home of black-necked cranes, which migrate from the arid plains of Tibet in the north, to pass the winter months in a milder climate. Explore Gangtey village.

  7. Day 7 Paro

    Phobjikha to Paro

    Morning visit the Royal Society for Protection of Nature, Nyelung Dechenling Temple and meet the locals. You might catch the sight of the heavenly bird if visiting early spring/late autumn. The wide valley provides plenty of trails to take easy walks. In the evening drive to Paro and if possible, visit Drukgyel Dzong (Fortress/monastery), the ruined fortress from where Bhutanese repelled several invasions by Tibetan armies. On a clear day, there is a splendid view of Mt. Chomolhari from the approach road to this Dzong.

  8. Day 8 Paro

    Hike to Taktsang Monastery(Tiger's nest)

    Morning drive to Chele La pass is at a cool crisp mountain pass and your route takes you through a spectacularly lovely forest of pine, oak and rhododendrons that ablaze with blood red and pink blooms in April and May. The heady scent of daphne permeates the air and the sun-dappled - as enchanting a drive as you could have hoped for. Around 10 km from the top you can spot the Kila Nunnery perched on the opposite hillside with prayer flags lining the walking path to it and surrounding the complex. Once you cross the tree line, you are likely to come up with yaks grazing in the alpine meadows. The pass itself is marked by a multitude of prayer flags that seem to spear the intense blue skies! On a clear day, you can get a breathtaking view of Mt. Jomolhari and other Himalayan giants. Later visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Bhutan. Tibetan King Songtsen Gambo the second of two temples builds this in Bhutan in a single day to hold down the giant demoness who was preventing the spread of Buddhism .
    In the evening, go for traditional hot stone bath.

  9. Day 9 Phuentsholing

    Paro to Phuntsholing

    Morning visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, the fortress which has a long and fascinating history and also visit Dungtse Lhakhang.
    After Lunch, we drive to phuntsholing. One the way stop over at Tachog Lhakhang.(Iron Bridge).

  10. Day 10

    Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station Departure

    Morning depart to Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station for onward program.
