Day 1 Darjeeling
PICK UP BAGDOGRA TO DARJEELING
Meet & Greet on the time of arrival after reaching Jaigaon / Phuentsholing from Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Phuentsholing – The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. Phuentsholing is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the Hotel. Overnight at Phuentsholing.

Day 2 Darjeeling
DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Early morning (around 4.00 am) you will transfer for 1. Tiger hill, 2. Ghoom monastery, 3. Batasia loop - return at hotel after breakfast you will proceed for rest of the sightseeing, 4. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, 5. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Thursday closed), 6. Tenzing Rock, 7. Japanese Temple, 8. The Peace Pagoda, 9. Tea garden - back at evening - evening free for leisure at chowrasta mall on your own cost - Overnight accommodation at hotel in Darjeeling.
NB: The joy ride is not included in the itinerary. If passengers wish to take it, we recommend booking tickets for 3:30 PM onwards to avoid missing local sightseeing. Our vehicle will drop passengers at the station after sightseeing, and they will need to arrange a local taxi for the return. The toy train fare is ?1000 per person for the diesel engine and ?1500 per person for the steam engine. Advance online booking is advised as tickets often sell out.
In case the guest chooses the Toy Train ride, additional driver holding charges will apply.

Day 3 Phuentsholing
DARJEELING VIA MIRIK TO JAIGAON / PHUENTSHOLING DROP
A full-day scenic drop from Darjeeling to NJP (New Jalpaiguri Junction) via the offbeat Mirik route is one of the most beautiful ways to end a hill trip. Instead of taking the direct Rohini or Pankhabari road, this route covers forests, Indo-Nepal border views, tea gardens, and lakes. Your journey starts from Darjeeling early in the morning. From Darjeeling, drive around 45 minutes (approx. 19 km) through dense pine forest to Lepcha Jagat, a quiet village known for Kanchenjunga views and peaceful surroundings. After a short stop, continue driving around 45 minutes (22 km) toward Jorpokhri, a serene twin-lake area near the Indo-Nepal border. Just ahead is Simana View Point, where you can stand at the India–Nepal border and enjoy panoramic mountain and valley views. From Simana, drive about 15 minutes (5 km) to Pashupati Market, a popular border market in Nepal where travelers shop for jackets, bags, and small imported goods (Indian citizens can enter with valid ID). Spend around 30–45 minutes here. Then continue downhill for about 40 minutes (18 km) to the scenic Gopaldhara Tea Estate, one of the most picturesque tea gardens in the Mirik region perfect for photography and short tea breaks. Next, drive approximately 20 minutes (8 km) to Mirik Lake (Sumendu Lake). You can enjoy boating, lakeside walking, horse riding, and lunch here. A comfortable stop here usually takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. After Mirik, continue your descent toward the plains. On the way, stop at Tingling View Point for valley views and photography (15–20 minutes stop). Further down, pass through Panighata, known for beautiful tea gardens and river valley scenery.

Day 4 Thimphu
PHUENTSHOLING TO THIMPHU
After breakfast, complete immigration formalities and begin your scenic drive to Thimphu (7,710 ft.), the charming capital of Bhutan. On the way, you may stop to visit the beautiful Kharbandi Monastery,Stop at Gedu stupa will get a Scenic Mountain Highway,and take in stunning views of the Chhukha Dam. enjoy a cascading roadside waterfall, On arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. The evening is free for you to relax or explore at leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 5 Punakha
THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING TO PUNAKHA
Embark on an exciting journey through Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital and the residence of the royal family. Start your day with a visit to Buddha Point and Simply Bhutan, a living museum showcasing traditional Bhutanese life. The view from BBS Tower is stunning and provides a perfect introduction to Thimphu. Explore religious sites like the National Memorial Chorten and the historic Chang Gangkha Monastery. Nature lovers shouldn’t miss the National Zoo with its unique national animal, the takin. Discover Bhutan’s spiritual side at the National Library, and enjoy the local crafts at the Handicraft Market. In the evening, Head towards Punakha overnight stay at Punakha.

Day 6 Punakha
PUNAKHA EXCURSION TO PHOBJIKHA VALLEY
After Breakfast Morning Drive from Punakha to Gangtay (Phobjika) Sight Seeing Which also spelt Phobjika, the suffix kha means valley in Dzongkha) is a vast U- shaped glacial Valley. Also known as Gangtey Valley named after the impressive Gangtey Monastery of the Nyingma sect in Central Bhutan, where the Graceful Black- necked Cranes in Bhutan (Grus nigricollis) from the Tibetan Plateau visit the valley during the winter season to roost.

Day 7 Paro
PUNAKHA SIGHTSEEING TO PARO
Punakha, situated at an altitude of 1300m/4265ft. Blessed with fertile lands from the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, Punakha showcases its natural beauty and cultural richness. Commencing in the morning, your exploration begins with Punakha Dzong, the ‘Palace of Great Happiness,’ built in the 17th century and now serving as the winter residence for Je Khenpo, the head abbot, and a community of 1,000 monks. Afternoon ventures include a visit to the historic Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of Bhutan’s oldest, and Chimi Lhakhang, the 15th-century Temple of Fertility. This pilgrimage site for couples concludes your day. As evening head towards Paro Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 8 Paro
PARO EXCURSION TO TAKSANG MOANSTERY HIKE
After breakfast hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery, which is Bhutan’s most famous monastery situated at 3180 meters. Guru Rinpoche (the great spiritual master) is said to have flown on the back of a tigress to meditate in a cave where Taktsang Monastery now stands. The monastery is perched on the edge of a steep cliff, about 900 meters above Paro Valley. Overnight at Paro.

Day 9 Phuentsholing
PARO 02 POINT SIGHTSEEING TO PHUENTSHOLING (142km-5hrs)
This morning After breakfast Check out from hotel & visit the perfectly symmetrical Rinpung Dzong, built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the first spiritual and temporal ruler of Bhutan. Also will be visiting the Ta Dzong – situated on the hill side, is the castle-shaped, one time watch tower built to defend Rinpung Dzong during inter-valley wars of the 17th Century, now holds the National Museum and drive back towards Phuentsholing drop and on arrival check in the Hotel and night Halt
