Day by day

  1. Day 1 Volvo - Overnight Journey

    Delhi – Manali (Overnight Volvo) (550 Km / 12 – 14 Hours)

    After arriving at Delhi Airport/ Railway Station, guests reach Volvo Pickup Point (on their own) in the evening. They embark on the Volvo Bus from Delhi to Manali. This would be an overnight journey from Delhi to Manali. Next morning guests reach Manali.

  2. Day 2 Manali

    Manali Pickup – Local Sightseeing

    This morning guests reach Manali. They are picked up by our representative at Manali Volo pickup point in the morning. Next we move to our pre booked hotel for Check In. Post hotel check in and fresh we move for Local Sightseeing of Manali. We start with the "HADIMBA DEVI TEMPLE". This cave temple was built in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. Next we move to "CLUB HOUSE".The Club House has comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Adventurous souls can also try their hand at zip-lining where one has to cross a river using ropeway. Next we move towards Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar which are located near the famous Mall Road of Manali at a walking distance. After visiting the above we move across Beas river to the Vashisth Village which is well known for its hot springs. There are old temple dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama is believed to be more than 4000 years old. After covering the sightseeing we move towards our pre-booked hotel at Manali for dinner and overnight stay.

  3. Day 3 Manali

    Manali - Solang Valley – Rohtang Pass

    This morning after breakfast we leave for Solang Valley. Solang Valley is an activity hub located at 15 Kms North West of Manali Town. Here guests can enjoy Paragliding, Zorbing, Skiing, Cable car riding.Other leisure activities like Horse riding, fancy photography are the attractions that keeps guests engaged. Next we move to Rohtang Pass. At an elevation of 13,054 ft, Rohtang Pass serves as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti valleys in Himachal Pradesh. While moving to the Rohtang Pass we cross the Rahala Waterfalls. A popular but rarely photographed waterfall, Rahala is 16 km from Manali towards Rohtang Pass. The beauty of the waterfall is its breathtaking descent from an altitude of 2500 meters. This nature’s beauty is an absolute treat for shutterbugs. Next we reach the Rohtang Pass. At an elevation of 3979 m above sea level, it exudes immense attractiveness. The Pass, is a mecca for adrenaline-pumping activities. Skiing, paragliding, zorbing, sledding, and other snow activities are among the most popular. These activities can also be availed at the Solang Valley, but the height of Rohtang pass does all the magic here. By the evening we are back to our hotel at Manali for Dinner and overnight Stay.

    Note : To protect the fragile ecology of Rohtang pass, NGT has ordered Himachal government to restrict the maximum number of tourist vehicles going to Rohtang pass to 1,200 a day, which include 800 petrol engine vehicles and 400 diesel engine vehicles. A visit to Rohtang Pass is strictly governed by NGT terms and conditions and prior permission and clearance from the Local Administration upon payment of additional charges. No tourist vehicle is allowed to visit Rohtang Pass in case permit is not granted in advance. Hence, if guests wants to visit Rohtang Pass additional payment has to be made on trip. If Rohtang Pass permit is not granted the sightseeing is limited to Solang Valley only and not beyond that.

  4. Day 4

    Manali – Naggar – Kais – Kullu - Manali – Delhi (Overnight Volvo)

    This morning after breakfast we check out from our hotel and leave for Naggar Town near Manali. Naggar is an ancient town situated on the banks of the mighty River Beas. This ancient town commands an amazing view, especially to the Northwest of the valley. Naggar was the former capital of Kullu and founded by Raja Visudhpal and continued as the headquarters of his state. In naggar we visit Naggar Castle. The Castle in Naggar is a medieval mansion of wood and stone that overlooks the beautiful valley of Kullu. Next we visit Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery And Museum. The building houses the gallery once served as the residence of Nicholas Roerich. Himachal Pradesh Government and Russian Government have formed a trust to run this art gallery as the Roerich Heritage Museum. Paintings of Kullu, Spiti and Lahaul made by the painter have been housed in the ground floor of the gallery. A great number of his works are preserved in museums all over the world. Most of the paintings show the beauty of ice covered valleys and peaks during early hours of evening. Next we move to Kais Monastery. The monastery gives a magical look and it has been strongly dedicated to Dalai Lama. The monastery serves as a boarding school and university for the study of Buddhist philosophy. This monastery houses several Tibetan monks. This Monastery has a huge prayer hall with a huge Buddha statue. Next we visit Kullu. Kullu is a hot-spot for adventure sports. Trekking, river rafting, mountaineering, paragliding and hiking over the Himalayan glaciers are some of the activities that Kullu offers. We visit vaishno devi temple at Kullu. Vaishno Devi Temple in Kullu is another example of an idyllic sacred place in Himachal Pradesh. The surrounding of the temple is outstanding, covered with mountains and scenic locations. We visit Kullu Shawl Factories for shopping. Kullu pashmina shawls are famous all over India and are recognized to be of the best quality. By the evening our representative will drop our guests at Manali Volvo Drop Off point. Guests embark the volvo. This would be an overnight journey from Manali to Delhi. Next day guests reach Delhi and continue their journey home.
