Jammu Arrival - Srinagar Local Sightseeing
On the Arrival of Jammu Railway station or Airport and proceed to Srinagar Srinagar 2440Meters (Vale of Kashmir) 252 kms (5 to 6 Hours journey). On the way you can enjoy the Patnitopview of mountains and also you can see the photogenic view of Chenab River flowing from great Himalayas. Finally, you will reach Srinagar leave for local sightseeing for local sightseeing(approx. 32 kms can be covered in 3 to 4 hours) including Shalimar, Nishat, Cheshma Shahi and Botanical Garden hence drive to Shankarayacharya Temple situated on Hill top overlooking the beautiful Srinagar City.Evening drive to Old City tour, Visit the Historical Jamia Masjid, DargahHazratbal Shrine, Badamwari (Garden of Almond Trees) and spend your timewith shopping in local market areas in Srinagar city. Srinagar - Sonmarg Daytrip
After Breakfast, leave from hotel Continue drive to Sonamarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold) (approx. 82 kms 2 ½ hours’ drive one way). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonamarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. You can also visit Zero point via Zojila Pass (By Union vehicle on your own). Return back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.
