Day 1 Srinagar
Day 01--- Arrive Srinagar and Local Sight Seeing
Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport or railway station, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Capture Kashmir Tours. After a smooth meet-and-greet, you will be assisted with your luggage and escorted to begin your enchanting Srinagar local sightseeing tour, which includes Nishat Bagh (built in 1633 by Asif Khan, brother of Empress Noor Jahan), Shalimar Bagh (commissioned by Emperor Jahangir for his wife Noor Jahan), Chashme Shahi (a small garden built in 1632 during the reign of Shah Jahan, known for its natural spring), Pari Mahal (built in the 1600s by Dara Shikoh, son of Shah Jahan, once a center for Sufi learning), the Botanical Garden, and Hazratbal Shrine (a revered Muslim shrine on the northern shores of Dal Lake). You will also visit the historic Shankaracharya Temple, located atop a hill overlooking Srinagar, offering panoramic views of the city and Dal Lake. The tour also includes the Tulip Garden (open only during March– April), Asia’s largest, featuring vibrant seasonal blooms. In the evening, enjoy a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake, where the calm
waters, golden hues of the setting sun, surrounding mountains, and cool breeze create a truly magical experience. After the ride, you will be escorted to your hotel for check-in, followed by dinner at the hotel, marking the end of your first day in Srinagar. -
Day 2 Srinagar
Day 02 --- Srinagar to sonmarg
After breakfast, you will drive approximately 80 kilometers from Srinagar to Sonmarg. On the way, you will first stop at Wayul, a beautiful spot perfect for taking selfies and enjoying the scenic surroundings. Then, continuing via Kangan, you will proceed to visit the stunning Thajiwas Glacier, known for its pristine snowfields and breathtaking views. To reach Thajiwas Glacier, you can either walk or enjoy a pony ride. Sonmarg, also called the “Meadow of Gold,” offers opportunities for nature walks, pony rides, visiting the popular Fishing Point on the banks of Sind River, and adventurous activities like zip lining near the picturesque Baltal View. Zojila Pass, Zero Point, Kargil War Memorial and the Kashmir last village require hiring a separate union cab, depending on weather conditions, as the road is often closed in winter due to snow. After a refreshing day amidst nature, you will return to Srinagar by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Srinagar
Day 03 --- Srinagar to Gulmarg (houseboat stay)
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your Srinagar hotel for a scenic drive to Gulmarg (approx. 50 km / 2 hours), one of Kashmir’s most popular hill stations. En route, you will pass through Tangmarg and make a stop at the majestic Drung Waterfall, which can be reached via a short jeep or ATV ride through scenic trails—perfect for photos and enjoying the cascading waters. Continue the drive amidst lush meadows, pine forests, and snow-capped mountains until arrival in Gulmarg. Experience the famous Gulmarg Gondola ride to Mount Apharwat, one of the highest cable car rides in the world, offering breathtaking panoramic views of snow-covered peaks and valleys. At the top, enjoy activities like snow skiing, snowboarding, snowball fights, and photography (not included). Evening at leisure to relax amidst the cool mountain air, followed by dinner and overnight stay in srinagar.

Day 4 Pahalgam
Day 04 --- Srinagar to Pahalgham & Stay
After breakfast at your Srinagar hotel, our driver will pick you up and you will begin your scenic drive towards Pahalgam (90 km / approx. 3 hours drive), also known as ?The Valley of Shepherds.? The journey takes you through the charming countryside of Kashmir, passing
through the beautiful Saffron fields of Pampore and the ancient Awantipora Ruins built by King Avantivarman. As you continue your journey, you will come across the famous Apple Gardens, where you can enjoy the refreshing view of lush apple orchards and even taste freshly prepared apple juice made from locally grown apples. You will also visit a traditional Bat Factory, where Kashmir’s world-famous willow cricket bats are crafted. The drive further offers mesmerizing views of the Lidder River flowing alongside the road, adding a magical charm to the route. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check in to your hotel and relax amidst the serene surroundings. Later in the evening, you can take a leisurely walk along the Lidder River and enjoy the calmness of the valley. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Pahalgam. -
Day 5 Srinagar
Day 05 --- Pahalgham local sight seen to srinagar
Next morning after breakfast, proceed to explore the enchanting valleys of Pahalgam — Aru Valley (12 km from Pahalgam, a peaceful village surrounded by pine forests and mountains), Betaab Valley (7 km from Pahalgam, a famous Bollywood shooting spot known for its
lush meadows and crystal-clear streams), and Chandanwari (16 km from Pahalgam, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra offering snow-clad peaks and scenic beauty). (Please note that sightseeing to these valleys is done by local union cabs which can be hired directly at your own cost.) After spending a memorable day in the lap of nature, drive back to Srinagar enjoying the scenic views on the way. On arrival, you will be dropped at your hotel in Srinagar with wonderful memories of Pahalgam. -
Day 6
Day 06 --- Srinagar Departure
After a hearty breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel for your departure to Srinagar Airport or Railway Station. Carry with you the serene views and unforgettable moments of Kashmir, made possible by Capture Kashmir Tours, and have a safe and pleasant onwards journey.
