Day by day
Day 1 · Katra
Day 01--- Arrive jammu and transfer to katra Darshan and stay
On arrival at Jammu airport or railway station, the Capture Kashmir Tours representative will warmly welcome you. From there, you will drive to Katra (around 1–2 hours, 40–50 km) through scenic landscapes, with opportunities to stretch and refresh. Depending on the time of arrival, you will check in at your hotel in Katra and rest for a while. Later, you will proceed for Katra Darshan, which starts from the Bhawan area in Katra town. The journey involves walking approximately half of the trail, while the remaining distance can be covered via union cab or helicopter, depending on your preference. Along the route, you will visit Bhairav Ghati and pass through well-marked paths with resting points and small shrines before culminating the darshan at the Vaishno Devi Mandir, where you can participate in the devotional rituals. Later, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel, followed by a comfortable overnight stay in Katra.

Day 2 · Srinagar
Day 02 --- Katra to Srinagar and stay
After breakfast, you will drive to Srinagar (approximately 270 km, 4–5 hours), with a stop en route at Ramban to refresh, stretch, and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Along the way, capture beautiful photographs of the landscapes and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax for a while. Later, explore Srinagar’s local attractions, including the famous Dal Lake with a serene Shikara ride, the lush Mughal Gardens – Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi Botanical Garden, as well as the historic Pari Mahal overlooking the lake. Visit the Tulip Garden (open March–April), Asia’s largest, with vibrant seasonal blooms. Admire the tranquil Hazratbal Shrine and take in panoramic views from the Shankaracharya Temple. Day 3 · Srinagar
Day 03 --- Srinagar to Gulmarg
After breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed for a full-day excursion to Gulmarg, a scenic hill station located around 50 km from Srinagar. On the way, you can visit the stunning Drung Waterfall, a hidden gem along the Gulmarg route, which becomes a frozen waterfall in winter and offers a spectacular view. It is accessible via union cabs or ATV rides, making it a perfect spot for photography and enjoying the pristine mountain environment. Upon arrival in Gulmarg, begin with the world-famous Gondola ride, which takes you up to Kongdoori and Apharwat Peak, providing breathtaking views of the snow-covered Himalayan ranges. Depending on the season, enjoy adventure activities such as skiing, snowboarding, sledging, ATV rides, horse riding, and nature walks. After the Gondola experience, explore other attractions in Gulmarg including the serene Botapathri Valley, the vibrant Strawberry Garden, the picturesque Gulmarg Golf Course, and the historic St.Mary’s Church, all accessible via union cabs or ATV rides.
