Arrival in Katra and stay
On arrival at the Jammu airport, railway station or bus stand, you will be warmly received and transferred to Katra, the gateway town to the sacred shrine of Vaishno Devi. The drive introduces you to the quieter, foothill landscape of the region, where the journey gradually shifts from the bustle of arrival into the calm of the hills. SRINAGAR TO SONMARG
After early breakfast, proceed on a day excursion to Sonmarg, the Meadow of Gold. Enjoy a pony ride on the glacier (ponies can be hired directly). The route towards Sonamarg takes on a picturesque country side drive where you will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields.Take a walk or horseback trip to Thajwas Glacier.
