Day by day

Day 1 Katra
Day 01--- Arrive jammu and transfer to katra and stay
On arrival at Jammu airport or railway station, the Capture Kashmir Tours
representative will warmly welcome you. From there, you will drive to Katra (around
1–2 hours, 40–50 km) through scenic landscapes. Along the way, you can stop to
stretch, click photographs, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Depending on the time
of arrival, you will check in at your hotel in Katra and rest for a while. Later, if time
permits, you can take a short walk around the town and explore the local markets.
In the evening, enjoy a relaxing dinner at your hotel, followed by a comfortable
overnight stay in Katra. -
Day 2 Katra
Day 02 --- Katra darshan and stay
After breakfast, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan from Katra. Begin
your journey from Ban Ganga either by foot, pony, palki, or helicopter service(available from Katra to Sanjichhat) as per your convenience. On the way,
visit sacred points like Charan Paduka and Adhkuwari, and after darshan at
the holy Bhawan, also visit Bhairav Ghati Temple, as the pilgrimage is
considered complete only after Bhairav Darshan. After the divine darshan,
return back to Katra by the same route. Later, return to hotel for dinner and
an overnight stay in Katra. -
Day 3 Patnitop
Day 03 --- Katra to Patnitop and stay
After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion from Katra to Patnitop, which is approximately 85 km away and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours by road. After reaching Patnitop, guests can visit Nathatop (about 14 km from Patnitop) for beautiful mountain views and photography, followed by a visit to the ancient Naag Temple Patnitop, located about 2 km from the main market and surrounded by pine forests. Guests may also enjoy some leisure time at Patnitop Park. If time permits, an optional visit to Sanasar Lake (around 20 km from Patnitop) can be arranged for scenic views and activities like paragliding and horse riding. Please note that local sightseeing in Patnitop and nearby areas may require hiring a local union cab as per local transport regulations. Later in the evening, drive back to hotel for overnight stay and dinner

Day 4 Patnitop
Day 04 --- Patnitop sightseen and stay
After breakfast, visit Patnitop local sightseeing. Explore the scenic hill
station with its lush pine and deodar forests, visit Nathatop viewpoint and
Patnitop Golf Course, enjoy short nature walks, and capture the stunning
mountain views. For convenience, Union cab or local taxi services can be
used to move between sightseeing spots. Later, return to hotel for dinner and
an overnight stay at Patnitop. -
Day 5 Gulmarg
Day 05 --- Patnitop to Gulmarg stay
After breakfast and transfer to gulmarg distance 250 kms and visit some local sightseen in gulmarg and later drive back to hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 6 Srinagar
Day 06 --- Gulmarg sightseen to Srinagar
After breakfast at the hotel, begin with the world-famous Gondola ride, which
takes you up to Kongdoori and Apharwat Peak, providing breathtaking views
of the snow-covered Himalayan ranges. Depending on the season, enjoy
adventure activities such as skiing, snowboarding, sledging, ATV rides, horse
riding, and nature walks. After the Gondola experience, explore other
attractions in Gulmarg including the serene Botapathri Valley, the vibrant
Strawberry Garden, the picturesque Gulmarg Golf Course, and the historic St.Mary’s Church, all accessible via union cabs or ATV rides. After a fun-filled
and refreshing day in the mountains, drive back to Srinagar by evening for
dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel. -
Day 7
Day 07 --- Srinagar local and Departure
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Srinagar, the city of lakes and
gardens. Start with the famous Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh, Shalimar
Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, known for their terraced lawns, Mughal fountains,
and stunning views of Dal Lake. Continue to Pari Mahal, a historic monument
perched on a hilltop offering panoramic views of the city. Visit the revered
Hazratbal Shrine, located on the banks of Dal Lake, and explore the serene
Botanical Garden filled with vibrant flowers. Head to the colorful Tulip
Garden, Asia’s largest, open only during March and April when thousands of
tulips bloom. Then, visit the iconic Shankaracharya Temple, situated atop a
hill, offering spiritual peace and breathtaking views of Srinagar. In the
evening, enjoy a relaxing Shikara Ride on Dal Lake and later drive back to Srinagar for departure
