Home to the beautiful Mughal gardens; you can spend the Day admiring acres of exotic flowers. Enjoy a local Kashmir and head out for a Shikara ride or drive at famous foreshore . In the evening check in the hotel and overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 2 · Srinagar

Mughal Gardens Next visit the magnificent Mughal Gardens that overlook the Dal Lake. They are part of the series of elaborate gardens that were laid out by Mughal Emperors over the centuries. With their unmistakable terraces and central channel of fountains, these gardens have been described to be as close to paradise as possible. Visit all 3 Mughal Gardens - Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Gardens and Chashmashahi Garden. After a visit to the gardens, stop for lunch (beverage excluded) at a local restaurant. After lunch visit a Carpet Weaving Center followed by a visit to a Lacquer Center. After that enjoy Shikara ride at Dal Lake. Hazratbal Shrine. The Hazratbal Shrine is a Muslim shrine located in Srinagar, on the banks of Dal Lake. Also known as, Dargah Sharif, is considered to be one of the holiest Muslim shrines. It contains a relic, Moi-e-Muqqadas, which is widely believed to be the hair of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The shrine is a place of high religious importance and also has quite a bit of history related to it. But other than that, it is also a very beautiful shrine that has also been gaining tourist attention in the last few years. Day 3 · Srinagar
Srinagar To Gulmarg
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a day excursion to Gulmarg. The drive past colourful villages and rice fields gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in the world and also called Meadows of Flowers. It has the world’s highest golf course and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports like skiing etc. But the most popular thing You should experience in Gulmarg is the Gondola Cable Car Ride to Khilanmarg. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colourful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat peak. From here, you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour. In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the houseboat.
