Srinagar To Sonmarg
Sonamarg is located on the Srinagar Leh highway at a distance of about 75 kilometres from Srinagar. The road remains open between April to November and gets closed in the winter season. 2 Days is an ideal time for visiting Sonmarg but if you were short on time, you can easily make it a day trip as well. Day 3 · Gulmarg
Srinagar To Gulmarg Day Trip 51km (1hr 30 min)
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for to Gulmarg. The drive past colourful villages and rice fields gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in the world and also called Meadows of Flowers. It has the world’s highest golf course and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports like skiing etc. But the most popular thing You should experience in Gulmarg is the Gondola Cable Car Ride to Khilanmarg. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colourful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat peak. From here, you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour.
