Day 1 Srinagar
Jammu Pick up-Arrival-Srinagar Local Sight Seeing
We will pick you up from Jammu , drive straight towards the Kashmir passing
through the Pirpanjal range of mountains and passing through the various tunnels. Once we
reach srinagar, we will drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah bridge
which connects the banks of the Jehlum river, local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous
Mughal gardens of Nishat garden, Shalimar garden, Chashmashahi, Parimahal, We will explore
the gardens and later we will assist you with transfers to Houseboat for overnight stay. -
Day 2 Sonmarg
Srinagar-Sonmarg-Night Stay
After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg. Cross the towns of Kangan, Mammar, Gagangir. Sonmarg,
which means "Meadow of Gold", is a picturesque hill station in the Kashmir Valley located in the
Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 2800 meters and adorned
with a majestic glacier, meadow, dense forests, and snow-capped mountains makes Sonmarg an
ideal holiday destination in Kashmir. Once you reach Sonamarg, take a 3 hour walk or horseback
trip to the Thajwass glacier. After return, visit the small town market. Dinner and Breakfast at
hotel in Sonmarg. -
Day 3 Srinagar
Sonmarg-Zero Point-War Memorial-Srinagar
After Breakfast, check out from the Hotel and visit the famous Zero Point and War Memorial. The
point is known as zero point as it is the boundary point between Kashmir and Ladakh. You can
see two large gates, one from Kashmir side and another from Ladakh side. It is around 35 kms.
From Sonamarg town. One Zero Point, also known as the gateway to Sonmarg, is a mountain
pass located in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The pass is situated at an elevation of
3,480 metres (11,420 ft) above sea level and provides a link between the Kashmir Valley and the
Ladakh Plateau. The best time to visit Kargil War Memorial is during the summer months from
March to June. During this period of the year, National Highway 1D that connects Srinagar and
Leh is open for tourists and the weather is pleasant with clear, blue skies. The Kargil War
Memorial, also known as Dras War Memorial, is a war memorial built by the Indian Army in the
town of Dras, near Kargil city in Kargil district of Ladakh, India, commemorating the 1999 Kargil
War between India and Pakistan. later in evening descend back to Srinagar for overnight stay.
Note: Visit to Zero Point and War Memorial is only allowed by Union Cabs and you need to pay
them. -
Day 4 Gurez Valley
Srinagar-Gurez-Night Stay
After breakfast, we will drive towards the Gurez Valley. Gurez is a lovely valley five miles in
length lying at an elevation of about 8000 feet above the sea. The Kishenganga river flows
through it, and on either side are mountains. The climate is dry and mild, excellent English
vegetables can be grown, and the wild raspberries and currants are delicious." Gurez,is a
fairyland,surreal place. Here,the sky is more blue,the pine trees are more green,the river
changes colour from turquoise green to silver. Connected to srinagar via razdan pass,takes
about 4 hours to reach. Explore the beauty of the Gurez for whole day and later in evening checkin to hotel for overnight stay. -
Day 5 Srinagar
Gurez Valley-Srinagar Night Stay
After breakfast, we will explore the various tourist spots of the Gurez Valley, which
includes,Habba Khatoon Peak: Dominating the Gurez Valley is the pyramid-shaped Habba
Khatoon Peak, named after the renowned 16th-century Kashmiri poetess. The peak stands as a
testament to both natural grandeur and cultural heritage. The most striking feature of the valley is
the famous Habba Khatoon peak. Shaped like a pyramid, this mountain peak is named after
renowned Kashmiri poetess Habba Khatoon (real name Zoon). As you descend down Razdan
Pass and leave Gurez Valley, you will be greeted by the restless, noisy, and beautiful Kishen
Ganga River. It passes through Gurez before finally merging into the Jhelum River near
Muzaffarabad in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. In Pakistan, it is known as the Neelum River and
forms the beautiful Neelum Valley. Rafting can be done in the Kishenganga river but
arrangements for that will have to be made from Srinagar itself. Trout fishing is a frequent sport
among locals and you can try your hand at it too if fishing interests you. Later in evening on
reaching Srinagar back check-in to hotel for overnight stay. -
Day 6 Srinagar
Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar
After Breakfast enroute to Gulmarg to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a
scenic drive of 52 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon. Later, begin a
short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system (the 08 minutes ropeway) for which you need
to book the tickets on your own. Gulmarg literally means “Meadow of flowers”. Gulmarg is
located 60 KMs away from Srinagar which is an hour and half journey by car. Gulmarg has
attracted millions of tourists throughout its existence with the scenic beauty of the Himalayan
Mountains in the back drop.. Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some
horse-riding. Drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay. -
Day 7 Srinagar
Srinagar-Doodhpathri-Srinagar
After breakfast, head towards the Doodhpathri, Valley of Milk, is a tourist destination and a hill
station located in the Khansahib tehsil of the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, India.
Situated at an altitude of 2,730 metres (8,960 ft) from sea level, it is located at a distance of42km
(26 mi) from Jammu and Kashmir's summer capital, Srinagar, and 30 km (19 mi) fromdistrict
headquarters, Budgam. Pony riding or horse riding to Shaliganga river and Mujhpathriacross the
meadows is the favourite activity of tourists here. Decend back to Srinagar forovernight stay at
hotel -
Day 8 Pahalgam
Srinagar-Pahalgham-Night Stay
After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara
which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A
at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns
scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. After
sightseeing around the mountain valley for most of the day drive back to Hotel for overnight stay
at Pahalgham -
Day 9
Departure- Drop at Jammu Railway Station.
After your breakfast, we will assist you with transfers to Jammu Railway Station back to your
home with memories.
