    • Eravikulam National Park (Rajamala):
    The Eravikulam National Park is one of the main attractions in Munnar. Visitors get to glimpse the rare Nilgiri Tahr during certain times of the year along with herds of elephants and gaur. The climate is perfect for a vacation and walks around the town are extremely refreshing.
    It is also famous for the special Neelakurinji flower that blooms here every 12 years. The hills turn blue and nature lovers come in large numbers to view this natural phenomenon in person.

    Munnar - Alleppey

    Built in the 9th century AD, Alleppey, called Allappuzha lies on the edge of the great Ashtamudi Lake. With the Arabian Sea on the west and a vast labyrinth of lakes, lagoons and several freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Allappuzha is a district of immense natural beauty. Alleppey is also famous for its Boat races, Houseboat Holidays, Beaches, Marine Products and Coir Industry. Every year, during August-September, Alleppey wakes up to the pulsating Nehru Cup Snake Boat Race, a water sport unique to Kerala.
