Day 1 Cochin
Arrival in Cochin – Sightseeing and Stay
Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, our driver will be there to warmly receive you. After pickup, proceed for local sightseeing of Cochin (Kochi), a vibrant port city that beautifully blends colonial charm with South Indian culture. Begin with a visit to the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets near Fort Kochi, followed by the historic St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India. Explore the fascinating Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace), known for its Kerala murals, and the nearby Jewish Synagogue in the quaint Jew Town area. Later, you can take a stroll along Marine Drive or relax by the backwaters. If time permits, shop for local spices, handicrafts, and antiques. After a day of exploration, check in to your hotel in Cochin for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2 Munnar
Cochin to Munnar
After breakfast at the hotel in Cochin, check out and begin your journey toward the picturesque hill station of Munnar. As you drive through the winding roads, enjoy the refreshing sights of lush green plantations of rubber, cardamom, pepper, and tea, along with dense forests, scenic valleys, and charming villages. En route, take a break to admire the beauty of the Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls, both cascading amidst thick greenery and offering great photo opportunities. The journey through Kerala’s high ranges is a memorable experience, filled with nature’s finest elements. On arrival at Munnar, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3 Munnar
Munnar City Tour
After breakfast, we take you for a full-day sightseeing trip of Munnar. Watch the beautiful mist kissing romantic green meadows, mind-blowing hills sleeping under a green carpet. Overnight stay at Munnar. Munnar places to visit: Mattupetty Lake and Mattupetty Dam, 10 km from Munnar, is a beautiful picnic spot with a panoramic view of the tea plantations and the lake. Munnar boating: Young couples who travel to Munnar should not miss out on the beautiful Kashmiri Shikara boat ride. Echo Point, 15 km from Munnar, each trip lasts around 30 minutes and will be closed at 4:30 PM. Munnar tea gardens: The visitors are greeted with miles and miles of unending tea plantations on entry into Munnar. Munnar Tea Museum and Tea Factory: This museum remains open from 10 AM till 4 PM every day, closed on Monday. There is a fee of ?75 per head for entrance. Blossom Park: Beautiful gardens with rare varieties of plants and flowers, and shady trees. Munnar elephant ride: Munnar is well known for the elephant rides. It costs approximately ?100 to ?450 per person. Rajamalai Eravikulam National Park (Eravikulam Park is closed from Jan to Mar): See Nilgiri Tahr, an endangered species of mountain goats, rolling grasslands and sholas spread over 97 sq km in the Rajamalai hills, rare flora and fauna, and the Atlas moth (largest in the world). The entry fee is approximately ?60 per person.

Day 4 Alleppey
Munnar to Alleppey
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Alleppey, the Venice of the East. Upon reaching, check in to the pre-booked resort and relax. Later, explore Alleppey’s charming local attractions such as Alappuzha Beach, Mullkal Temple, the historic Old Lighthouse, Vijaya Beach Park, and the Coir Museum, which showcases the region’s traditional coir industry. If your visit coincides with the right time of year, you can also witness the famous Nehru Trophy Boat Race, held annually on the second Saturday of August at Punnamada Lake — a thrilling and colorful event where massive snake boats race to the beat of traditional songs. Additionally, you can enjoy a peaceful Shikara boat ride through the calm backwaters (charges applicable per hour) for a more personal and serene experience. Return to the resort in the evening for an overnight stay in Alleppey.

Day 5
Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and pack your bags. You will then be driven towards Trivandrum, Kerala’s capital city. En route, visit the magnificent Jatayu Earth Centre, home to the world’s largest bird sculpture and an adventure park nestled amidst stunning rocky landscapes. Spend some time exploring the sculpture, enjoying panoramic views from the hilltop, or engaging in light activities if interested. After the visit, continue your journey to Trivandrum. If time permits, you can explore a few key attractions in the city, including the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the richest and most revered temples in India; the Napier Museum, known for its unique Indo-Saracenic architecture and historic artifacts; the Trivandrum Zoo, one of the oldest in the country set in a lush botanical setting; and Shanghumukham Beach, a peaceful coastal stretch ideal for a quiet stroll before departure. Finally, you will be dropped off at Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station as per your scheduled departure, carrying sweet memories of your trip with Namaskaram Travels.
