Day 1 Munnar
Cochin to Munnar
After your arrival in Cochin, begin your scenic drive towards Munnar, a breathtaking hill station nestled in the Western Ghats of Kerala. En route, enjoy picturesque views of lush greenery, misty mountains, and winding roads. Stop at the beautiful Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls, where cascading waters amidst dense forests make for a perfect photo opportunity. You will also visit a spice plantation, where you can explore and learn about Kerala’s famous spices such as cardamom, pepper, and cloves. The aroma and freshness of the plantation make it a delightful experience. Continue your journey through the hills, and upon reaching Munnar, check into your hotel or resort and unwind amidst nature’s tranquility. Day 2 Munnar
Munnar Siteseeing
A full-day sightseeing tour in Munnar is an excellent way to explore its natural beauty and cultural attractions. The journey begins with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, famous for its lush green landscapes and the rare Nilgiri Tahr. The entry fee for the park is approximately ?200 for Indian adults and ?500 for foreign tourists, while children under 12 enjoy a discounted rate. The next stop is the Mattupetty Dam and Lake, where visitors can take boat rides (?300-?500 depending on the type of boat) and enjoy the serene surroundings of the reservoir nestled among tea plantations. Following this, you'll head to Echo Point, where you can experience the natural echo phenomenon. Entry to Echo Point is generally free, but there are charges for optional activities like paddle boating. The tour then takes you to Rajamalai Garden, a beautifully maintained area filled with blooming flowers, which is perfect for leisurely walks and photos. Day 3 Thekkady
Munnar To Thekkady
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Munnar and drive towards Thekkady, enjoying a scenic journey through winding hill roads, lush tea plantations, misty valleys, and spice gardens. En route, you can stop at beautiful viewpoints and visit a spice plantation to learn about Kerala’s famous cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon cultivation (entry approx. ?100–?300 per person). Upon arrival in Thekkady, proceed to the renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can opt for a boat safari on Periyar Lake to spot elephants, deer, wild boar, and various bird species (boat safari approx. ?255–?300 per adult for Indians and ?500–?700 for foreign nationals). You may also choose activities like a guided nature walk (?400–?550 per person), bamboo rafting (?1800–?2500 per person), or border hiking/full-day trekking programs (?1500–?3500 per person). Later, explore Kumily local market for spices and souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy an optional Kathakali or Kalaripayattu martial arts show (?300–?500 per person). Day 4 Alleppey
Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat Stay
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Thekkady and drive towards Alleppey (Alappuzha), enjoying a scenic journey through Kerala’s countryside filled with lush greenery, rubber plantations, and charming village views. Upon arrival in Alleppey, board your traditional Kerala houseboat by 12:00–1:00 PM and receive a warm welcome drink. Begin your relaxing backwater cruise through the serene canals, vast paddy fields, coconut lagoons, and quaint villages where you can witness local life along the banks. Enjoy freshly prepared Kerala-style lunch served onboard as the boat cruises through the tranquil waters. In the evening, the houseboat will anchor at a peaceful location, allowing you to soak in the calm surroundings and beautiful sunset views. Tea and snacks will be served, followed by a delicious dinner onboard. Experience a unique overnight stay in the comfortable bedroom of the houseboat, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. The next morning, enjoy breakfast and check out around 9:00 AM for your onward journey.

Day 5
Alleppey to cochin Siteseeing and Cochin AIrport Drop
After breakfast, check out from your Alleppey hotel/houseboat and begin your drive towards Cochin (Kochi). The journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours and passes through scenic backwater villages, coconut groves, and small towns of Kerala.
On reaching Cochin, if time permits before your departure, you can proceed for local sightseeing. Visit Fort Kochi, known for its colonial charm and heritage streets. Here you can see the famous Chinese Fishing Nets, which are one of the iconic symbols of Kochi. Continue to St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, followed by Santa Cruz Basilica, known for its beautiful architecture and historical importance.
After completing the sightseeing, proceed to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying pleasant memories of Kerala’s serene backwaters and charming heritage city.
