After your arrival in Cochin, begin your scenic drive towards Munnar, a breathtaking hill station nestled in the Western Ghats of Kerala. Stop at the beautiful Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls, where cascading waters amidst dense forests make for a perfect photo opportunity. You will also visit a spice plantation, where you can explore and learn about Kerala’s famous spices such as cardamom, pepper, and cloves. The entry fee for the park is approximately ?200 for Indian adults and ?500 for foreign tourists, while children under 12 enjoy a discounted rate. After an early breakfast, check out from your Thekkady hotel and begin your scenic drive towards Varkala. En route, visit the remarkable Jatayu Earth Center, home to the world’s largest bird sculpture and an iconic tourism attraction. On arrival, take the cable car ride to the hilltop and explore the massive Jatayu sculpture, the 6D theatre, adventure zones and the panoramic views of the surrounding hills. After completing the visit, resume your journey to Varkala. Upon reaching Varkala, check in to your hotel and relax. Day 5 Alleppey
Varkala To Alleppey
After breakfast, check out from your Varkala hotel and begin your journey towards Alleppey, famously known as the “Venice of the East.” The drive offers a pleasant view of coastal villages and lush greenery. On arrival in Alleppey, proceed for check-in at your houseboat. staying on a houseboat, enjoy a warm welcome with a refreshing drink as the boat starts cruising gently through the serene backwaters. Spend the afternoon relaxing while passing by paddy fields, coconut lagoons, village life and narrow canals. A delicious Kerala lunch will be served onboard.
