En route, visit the famous Jatayu Earth Center at Chadayamangalam, home to the world’s largest bird sculpture inspired by the Ramayana. Sail past coconut groves, paddy fields, narrow canals, and traditional village life while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Alleppey to Cochin Drop with Half Day Cochin Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out from your hotel/houseboat in Alleppey and proceed towards Cochin. On arrival in Cochin, enjoy a half day sightseeing tour covering the city’s major attractions. Begin with a visit to the historic Fort Kochi, famous for its colonial charm and iconic Chinese Fishing Nets. Continue to St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India, followed by the beautiful Santa Cruz Basilica known for its stunning architecture and interiors.
Later, visit the historic Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) featuring traditional Kerala murals and royal artifacts. You can also explore Jew Town, popular for its antique shops and spice markets, along with the historic Paradesi Synagogue.
