Day 1 Munnar
Cochin Airport to Munnar
After breakfast Then you will drive towards to Munnar hotel basically famous for greenery and hills. You will also find few interesting waterfalls in the city. You can have a visit Tea Plantation. On the way you will visit Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls best place for trekking and taking some memorable. picture here it also surrounded by forest area. Once you reach Munnar. Check-in at the hotel overnight stay .

Day 2 Munnar
Munnar sightseeing
In the morning, get set for a truly beautiful stint in Munnar. Start your excursion with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, which is the most prominent attraction of this region. Spread over a vast 97 square kilometres Eravikulam National Park is home to many are and endangered species of animals such as the Nilgiri Tahr. Next, we take you to visit the Tea Museum (closed on Monday), which gives an insight in to the history of tea plantations of this region. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, a concrete dam built to produce hydroelectricity. Next stops are Echo Point and Flower Garden. After a day of some lovely sightseeing, return to your hotel for rest and overnight stay

Day 3 Thekkady

The route, approximately 90 kilometers long, is dotted with charming little towns and roadside viewpoints. Your first significant stop can be at the Lockhart Gap, offering panoramic views of the valleys and mist-clad mountains—a perfect spot for some breathtaking photographs. Continuing on, you'll pass through the small town of Devikulam, known for its idyllic setting and the Sita Devi Lake, which is worth a brief detour.
As you progress towards Thekady, the landscape transforms from tea plantations to dense forests and spice gardens. A visit to a spice plantation en route is a must, where you can learn about the cultivation of various spices like cardamom, pepper, and vanilla. Upon arriving in Thekady, make your way to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of India's most famous wildlife reserves. Here, you can take a boat ride on the Periyar Lake, offering a unique opportunity to spot wildlife such as elephants, deer, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. Day 4 Alleppey

Embarking on the journey from Thekkady to Alleppey offers a transition from the lush, wildlife-rich landscapes of the Western Ghats to the serene backwaters of Kerala. Start your day early in Thekkady with a morning visit to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary if you haven't already. Here, you can enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Periyar Lake, giving you a final glimpse of the region's rich biodiversity, including elephants, sambar deer, and various bird species.
Afterward, set off on the approximately 140-kilometer drive to Alleppey, a journey that takes around 4-5 hours. The drive itself is a treat, as you wind down from the highlands through picturesque villages, rubber and spice plantations, and scenic valleys. A stop at the town of Vandiperiyar can be a refreshing break; it's known for its numerous tea factories and lush gardens, providing a perfect spot for some light refreshments and a stroll.
As you approach Alleppey, the landscape gradually shifts to a network of canals, paddy fields, and coconut groves. Upon reaching Alleppey, head straight to the famous backwaters, where a houseboat cruise awaits.
