  2. Day 2 Munnar

    Munnar Siteseeing

    A full-day sightseeing tour in Munnar is an excellent way to explore its natural beauty and cultural attractions. The journey begins with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, famous for its lush green landscapes and the rare Nilgiri Tahr. The entry fee for the park is approximately ?200 for Indian adults and ?500 for foreign tourists, while children under 12 enjoy a discounted rate. The next stop is the Mattupetty Dam and Lake, where visitors can take boat rides (?300-?500 depending on the type of boat) and enjoy the serene surroundings of the reservoir nestled among tea plantations. Following this, you'll head to Echo Point, where you can experience the natural echo phenomenon. Entry to Echo Point is generally free, but there are charges for optional activities like paddle boating.     Munnar to Thekkady

En route, you can stop at panoramic viewpoints and spice plantations to experience the aroma of cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon that the region is famous for. Upon reaching Thekkady, you can check in at your hotel and proceed to explore the attractions of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, including a serene boating experience on Periyar Lake where you may spot elephants, deer, and various bird species along the forested shores.   5. Day 5 Kovalam

    Kovalam – Kanyakumari Sightseeing – Kovalam Stay

    After an early breakfast, proceed from Kovalam to Kanyakumari (approx. 90 km / 2.5 hrs), the southernmost tip of India where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean meet. On arrival, begin sightseeing with a ferry ride to the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial, followed by the towering Thiruvalluvar Statue located on a nearby islet. Visit the sacred Kanyakumari Amman Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kanya Kumari, and the historic Gandhi Memorial, where the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were kept before immersion. Spend time walking along the beach promenade, enjoying the scenic coastal views and local markets. If time permits, witness the spectacular sunset, one of the highlights of Kanyakumari.     After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey (approx. 4–5 hours / 160 km). Upon arrival, check in to your houseboat by around 12:30 PM. Enjoy a relaxing cruise through the serene backwaters, witnessing village life, paddy fields, and coconut lagoons while relishing traditional Kerala meals onboard. Spend the evening at leisure as the boat anchors in a calm location. Overnight stay in houseboat.

    Cochin Half-Day Sightseeing & Departure

    After breakfast or upon arrival, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Cochin, exploring its rich cultural and colonial heritage. Begin with a visit to Fort Kochi, known for its charming streets and colonial architecture, followed by the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets along the shoreline. Continue to St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India, and the beautiful Santa Cruz Basilica, admired for its stunning interiors. Later, visit Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), famous for its intricate Kerala murals, and the historic Jewish Synagogue in Jew Town (subject to opening hours).
