TRIVANDRUM - KOVALAM
Pickup from Trivandrum Airport & proceed to Kovalam. Kovalam a small coastal town in the southern Indian state of Kerala, south of Thiruvananthapuram. At the southern end of Lighthouse Beach is a striped lighthouse with a viewing platform. ). Once you reached kovalam, Check-IN to your resort, take rest and after that proceed for the sightseeing like Kovalam Light House(Officially known as Vizhinjam Lighthouse, this lighthouse is located on a hillock named Kurumkal which is very close to the sea. The lighthouse is thirty five meter tall structure that is painted with red and white colour that is easily visible from a long distance. )after that proceed to Samundra Beach (This is separated from other beaches by disjointed fissures and giant promontory. The beach has enormous attractive features among which the most prominent is its isolation and the feel of serenity it offers. KOVALAM – KANYAKUMARI – KOVALAM [100 KMS | 2 HRS]
Today after breakfast you will have a day trip to Kanyakumari the southern tip of Indian Sub continent and an important destination for pilgrim as well as leisure travelers. On the way get down at Padmanabapuram Palace an architectural wonder, and reach Kanyakumari at noon. After lunch visit the famous Vivekananda rock which is situated in the sea and the huge statue of Thiruvalluvar on the rock. Enjoy an ever sea view from there as it’s the point where Arabian sea, Indian ocean and Bay of Bengal are joining together. By 4 pm back to your resort at Kovalam and enjoy the beach. After reaching Alleppey drives towards your houseboat Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats.
