Day by day

1. Day 1 Munnar

   Day 1 : Cochin to Munnar

   Arrive Cochin airport / Railway station, our executive meet you on arrival and explain the tour to you and later drive to Munnar (140 kms / 3.30 – 4. hrs). Munnar is one of the most famous hill station situated on the Western Ghats at the height of 1600 metres above the sea level. It is essentially a tea town – miles of unending tea plantation can be seen here. Enroute see Cheeyappara, Valara water falls and Karadipara View Point. Also see Spice plantations, Rubber Plantations, Pineapple garden etc… Arrive and check into the hotel. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel

2. Day 2 Munnar

   Day 2 : Munnar (Local Sightseeing)

   After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Morning visit Mattupetty dam, Echo point and Kundala Lake. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. While coming back see flower garden. Later visit a tea factory and tea museum. Afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamala is the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Nilgiri Thar can be observed very closely here. Overnight at hotel .
   
   Optional Activities at Munnar : Motor boat or speedboat ride at Mattupetty Dam, Elephant Safari, Ayurveda Massage etc.

3. Day 3 Thekkady

   Day 3 : Munnar to Thekkady

   After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady (110 kms / 3.30 hrs) which is also known as Periyar. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Enroute see Gap roa, View point, Anayirangal Dam, Spice Plantations etc. At Thekkady enjoys a boating (on own – costs around Rs 150 per person. It is a common fixed time boating, there is no advance booking system. Please coordinate with driver) at man made lake and this is the only wild life sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close from the safety of a boat on the lake. The probable animals to watch are Bison, Gaur, Wild Elephants, Sambhar and a wide variety of birds. Rest of the day will be free for other activities. Overnight at Hotel

4. Day 4 Kovallam

   Day 4 : Thekkady to Kovallam

   Morning after breakfast Houseboat drop you at nearest Jetty around 0900 hrs where our car and driver wait for you, later drive to Kovalam, the beach destination (175 kms / 3.30 hrs). Arrive and check in to the hotel, rest of the day at leisure at hotel / beach. Overnight stay at Hotel.

5. Day 5 Kovallam

   Day 5 : Kovalam (Poovar Sightseeing)

   After Breakfast proceed for Trivandrum sightseeing, interesting places to see are Padmanabha swami temple, Horse shoe museum, Chaitram Art gallery and Zoo. Later drive to Poovar is one among the natural wonders where the Lake, River, Sea and Beach meet the land. Poovar is unspoilt and unexplored, enveloped by the most serene backwaters, and opening out to the sea and a dream golden sand beach Our team member will receive you at Trivandrum airport and you will be directly transferred to Poovar Reach Poovar and check into the resort and relax Rest of time at disposal with in house activities. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

6. Day 6 Allepey

   Day 6 : Kovalam to Alleppey

   After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kumarakom / Alleppey (160 kms / 4 – 4.30 hrs) the backwater destinations of Kerala. Arrive and check in to Houseboat which is also called as Kettuvallom (the boat will ready around 1200 hrs) and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes of Kerala. Your houseboat has bedrooms with attached toilet, a dining area cum sit out. There will be 3 accompanying staff in the boat. One driver, one helper and one cook. Lunch, Evening Tea, Snacks and Dinner will be cooked and served on board by the accompanying cook. In AC Boat AC is installed in bedroom and it will switch on from 9 pm to 6 am only. overnight stay at Houseboat.
7. Day 7

   Day 7 : Alleppey To Cochin

   After breakfast spend time in beach or resort later at 11 am check out .you can visit Matancherry Palace/ Dutch Palace, Paradesi Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, and St. Francis Church Chinese. Mattancherry Palace, which is fondly known as the Dutch Palace, is a landmark monument in Kochi. Today, bid farewell to your 'Kerala Delight' tour, as you are transferred to the Cochin airport for your onward journey.
