Drive from Munnar to Thekkady

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Enroute see Plantations etc. At Thekkady enjoys boating (on own – costs around 500 per person) at man made lake and this is the only wild life sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close from the safety of a boat on the lake. Day 5 · Alleppey

Drive from Thekkady to Alleppey

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Alleppey (170 kms / 4 – 4.30 hrs) the backwater destinations of Kerala. Arrive and check in to the Houseboat which is also called as Kettuvallom (the boat will be ready around 1200 hrs) and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes of Kerala. Your houseboat has bedrooms with attached toilets, a dining area cum sit out. There will be 3 accompanying staff in the boat. One driver, one helper and one cook.
