Day by day

1. Day 1 Gangtok

   Bagdogra to Gangtok (Approx 5–6hrs)

   Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), you will be received by our representative/driver and proceed towards Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The journey covers approximately 120–125 km and takes around 6-7 hrs, depending on road and traffic conditions.
   
   The drive starts from the plains of Siliguri and gradually ascends into the hills. En route, pass through Sevoke, where you can witness the iconic Coronation Bridge over the Teesta River. Continue along the Teesta River, enjoying scenic views of flowing water, valleys, and mountain landscapes. There are several roadside eateries where you may stop for refreshments or lunch (on direct payment basis).
   
   Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to your hotel. In the evening, you can explore MG Marg on your own—Gangtok’s famous pedestrian street known for its vibrant atmosphere, cafes, restaurants, and shopping options.
   
   All expenses for shopping, food, and activities at MG Marg will be on direct payment basis (own expense).

2. Day 2 Lachung

   Gangtok to Lachung (North Sikkim)

   After an early breakfast in Gangtok, begin your picturesque journey towards Lachung, a charming mountain village located at an altitude of around 9,600 ft. The drive takes approximately 6–7 hours and is filled with breathtaking views of mountains, waterfalls, and river valleys.
   
   On the way, make a stop at the beautiful Seven Sisters Waterfalls, one of the most scenic waterfalls in Sikkim, where water cascades down in multiple streams against a lush green backdrop—perfect for photography and short breaks.
   
   Continue your journey with another brief halt at the Chungthang Dam View Point, where you can witness the confluence of the Lachen and Lachung rivers along with a small hydroelectric project set amidst stunning surroundings.
   
   After enjoying the scenic stops, proceed towards Lachung. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, freshen up, and relax. In the evening, enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the village surrounded by mountains and the sound of the flowing river. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay in Lachung.

3. Day 3 Lachung

   Excursion to Yumthang Valley,Zero point &Mt Katao Optional (Extra Cost)

   Start your day early from Lachung with a delicious breakfast, as you head out for an unforgettable excursion to the breathtaking Yumthang Valley, also known as the “Valley of Flowers.” Located at an altitude of around 11,800 ft, Yumthang is famous for its vast stretches of alpine meadows, seasonal blooming flowers, and the flowing Lachung Chu River, all surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Spend some time enjoying the natural beauty and serene environment.
   
   After exploring Yumthang Valley, you can proceed further (at an additional cost) to Zero Point, situated at an altitude of about 15,300 ft, where the road ends and you can experience snow almost throughout the year. It offers a mesmerizing high-altitude landscape with snow-covered surroundings and a raw Himalayan experience.
   
   Alternatively, you may also opt to visit Mt Katao (subject to permit and weather conditions), another stunning high-altitude destination known for its panoramic views and heavy snowfall, making it a paradise for snow lovers. Please note that both Zero Point and Mt Katao are optional excursions, require special permits, and involve additional costs payable directly.
   
   After completing the excursion, return back to Lachung by afternoon. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the peaceful mountain surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Lachung.

4. Day 4

   Lachung to Bagdogra / NJP Transfer

   Begin your journey early in the morning from Lachung after breakfast. Drive through the beautiful mountain roads of North Sikkim while enjoying the scenic views of waterfalls, valleys, and the Teesta River. On the way, pass through Chungthang, Mangan, and Singtam while descending towards Gangtok. Short refreshment and lunch breaks can be taken en route at suitable roadside restaurants (on direct payment basis).
   
   After crossing Gangtok, continue the drive towards Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station via NH10 alongside the Teesta River. Enjoy the picturesque views of Coronation Bridge and the surrounding hills during the journey. Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, the tour concludes with sweet memories of your Sikkim trip.
   (Note:-If NH10 remains closed, an alternative route will have to be taken. In that case, if the driver asks for any extra charges, those will need to be paid by the guests.)
