Day 1 Gangtok
Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok
Our representative will receive you at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) . He will then assist you for your onward journey to Gangtok. Approximately 135 Kilometers / 4 – 5 hours drive, Gangtok the state capital is the perfect destination for tourists in search of enchantment, tranquility, trekking or any other adventure. Gangtok is not only popular as the land of monasteries but also is a blend of modern culture and ethnic traditions. At an elevation of 1,437 meters / 4,715 feet, Gangtok is the most often visited spot of India for its rare Orchids and Butterflies. In the evening one is free to stroll around M G Marg for a leisurely walk, a cup of hot tea or some shopping, another famous local market known as Lal Bazaar is also a good shopping hub where one gets to experience the local vegetable market and sinful shopping of clothes, bags, shoes and accessories in the same building. Over night stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 Gangtok
E xcursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (Nathulla Optional)
After your early morning breakfast you are ready to visit the beautiful and pious Tsomgo Lake. Permits are made on the very same day. Nearly a 48 kilometers drive, it takes around 2 hours to reach Tsomgo / Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, witness the cool, serene holy water and the picturesque beauty. Tsomgo Lake is one of the holy lake of the region and a temple of Lord Shiva is also built on the lakeside. Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place. This place remains snow clad till April and lays frozen.Once you are arrive from Tsomgo, you are free to enjoy a stroll around M G Road or Lal bazaar (Local Market). Over night stay at Gangtok.
Children below the age of 5, guests suffering from asthma and aged guests who has difficulty in breathing are strictly not recommended to visit Nathulla Pass @5500 extra cost -
Day 3 Gangtok
Gangtok - Fullday Sightseeing
• After breakfast around 8:30 – 9:00 am, you are ready for the city tour .
• The local Sightseeing of Gangtok consists of 8 to 9 points which includes the following :
Ganesh Tok – Ganesh Tok View Point is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Gangtok. The viewpoint is set at 6500 m and offers spectacular sights of the snow-capped peaks. There is a small temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha at the Ganesh Tok Viewpoint, where you can visit and seek blessings. However, the temple is so small that it can accommodate just one person at a time.
Plant Conservative - The Plant Conservatory at Bulbulay is home to over 400 species of plants and trees, and the conservatory is intended to make the region a botanical hub of the future.
Tashi View Point – This charming little Tashi View Point is a perfect place to witness the brilliant surroundings like mountains, valleys and Gangtok itself. This famous tourist point is located at a distance of 8 km from the town and is mostly known for offering some of the best sunrise and sunset views. One can witness the changing of colours of the Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu Peaks as the sun slowly moves from this view point along with the glimpse famous monasteries of Gangtok, Phodong and Labrang.
Bakthang Waterfalls - The waterfall is formed by the gushing waters of the Roro Chu River, which originates from the mountains in the eastern part of Sikkim. As the river flows through the rocky terrain, it falls from a height of around 50 feet, creating a mesmerizing sight for visitors .
Handicrafts & Handloom : Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Gangtok, Sikkim was established in 1957. It is also known as the Government Institute of Cottage Industries (GICI). The museum was founded during the reign of the Chogyals of Sikkim, with the intention to preserve and promote the art and craft skills of the local artisans.
Flower show – Flower Exhibition Centre, which is situated in Gangtok, showcases flowers from the different parts of Sikkim together under a single roof which makes it a heaven for all the nature lovers. Located right across the White Memorial Hall and below the Ridge Park, it lies at a walking distance from the MG Marg. Though the flowers are displayed here all through the year, the annual flower show which is held from April to May should not be missed out on as during this time, the management gathers here and presents numerous varieties of orchids along with other flowers from around the state. Participants from the neighbouring states are invited to be a part of the annual flower contest held in the premises by the Government of Sikkim .
Institute of Tibetology - It is one of the most important and famous institutes in the world that does research in the areas of Tibetan language and culture. It also has in its premises a museum, a Tibetan library with rich collections and also a reference center about Tibet and Himalayas in general.
Chorten Monastery - A popular story claims that the site of Do Drul Chorten before the stupa was built was infested with evil spirits who claimed the lives of all those who dared to venture out into this area. However, the Trushik Rinpoche who came from Tibet built his hermitage here in the early 1940s and drove away the evil entities.
Ropeway ( Optional ) - This kilometer-long ropeway ride in Gangtok is one of the most memorable activities. As you glide over Gangtok, suspended in a cable car, the city unfolds itself beneath you. The ride is nothing short of breathtaking .

Day 4 Darjeeling
Gangtok to Darjeeling - Transfer

Day 5 Darjeeling
Darjeeling - Fullday Sightseeing
Early morning around 3:45 AM visit to Tiger Hill for Sunrise and visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia War Memorial . Back to hotel for breakfast and refresh yourself . After breakfast sight seeing includes – Happy Valley Tea Garden OR Leebong Tea Garden , Tibetan Refugee Centre ( Sunday closed ) , Japanese Temple , Zoo ( Closed on Thursday ), Himalaya Mountaineering Institute ( Closed on Thursday ), Gombu Rock . A short journey to Batasia loop by Darjeeling Himalayan world Heritage Train (Optional) . Return to Hotel after long day . Evening free for shopping and to stroll around the local market .Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station - Drop
