Day by day

1. Day 1 Gangtok

   Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station – Gangtok (Approx – 130 kms 4 hrs)

   On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport, you will be met by our driver who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. On arrival check into the hotel and enjoy the day at leisure.
   
   GANGTOK:
   
   At an altitude of 1750m, Gangtok became the state capital in the Mid 19th century and has undergone rapid development since then.The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a traveller’s delight.

2. Day 2 Gangtok

   GANGTOK- ENCHANTING TSOMGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR

   Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake which is 36 Km from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters.

3. Day 3 Gangtok

   GANGTOK FULL DAY SIGHT SEEING

   After breakfast at the hotel later proceed to sightseeing in Gangtok visiting Tashi View Point, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastery, Flower Exhibition Center, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Cottage Industry, Rope Way & Bakthang Falls. On arrival check into the hotel.

4. Day 4 Darjeeling

   GANGTOK - DARJEELING (98 KMS 3 HOURS 31 MIN APPROX)

5. Day 5 Darjeeling

   DARJEELING FULL DAY SIGHT SEEING

   Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic sight and Ghoom Monastery which is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Kanchenjunga view point. Then visit Batasia Loop and transfer to hotel.
   
   Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock / Gombu Rock, Tea Estate (from outside), Japanese Peace Pagoda.

6. Day 6 Darjeeling

   DARJEELING - MIRIK EXCURSION - DARJEELING

   After breakfast start for an excursion to Mirik Lake which is 50 km from Darjeeling. Mirik Lake is one the destination where the town is centered by man-made Sumendu Lake, Simana View Point, Cardamom plantations and Tea Estates. The walk on the 3.5 Km long promenade around the lake is fascination one. The 80ft long arch-type over bridge across the lake is a beautiful place to explore the lake.
   
   The drive of 3-4 hrs from Darjeeling to Mirik Lake will be a wonderful adventure as it passes through the pine trees forest through its half of the journey and the remaining journey will be landscape by Tea Garden Estate. Guest can do shopping at Pushupati Market (Indo-Nepal Border).
   
   Note: Entry of Vehicle to Pushupati Market is restricted. Hence, customers are requested to avail Nepal taxi on direct payment locally.

7. Day 7

   DARJEELING - IXB BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/NJP RAILWAY STATION (92 KM 3 HOURS APPROX)

   After breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station in time for flight/train to onward destination.
