- Check out from your Jodhpur hotel. - Drive to Jaisalmer, the "Golden City" in the Thar Desert. Check-in at your hotel and freshen up. Explore the Sam Sand Dunes, which are about 45 minutes from the city, and enjoy a thrilling camel ride in the sand dunes. Watch the beautiful sunset over the desert. Enjoy a traditional Rajasthani cultural performance and dinner at a desert camp. Stay overnight in a comfortable desert camp or return to your hotel in Jaisalmer, depending on your preference.
