1. Day 1 Shillong

   Guwahati – Shillong (ASSAM – MEGHALAYA)

   Arrive at Guwahati Airport and drive to Shillong (140 km / 4 hrs drive approx). En route visit Umiam Lake. Check-in Hotel and after refreshment if time permits, we visit Cathedral of Mary and Ward’s Lake, evening roam the Shillong famous Police Bazar on foot. Overnight in Shillong.

2. Day 2 Cherrapunji

   Shillong – Cherrapunjee - Shillong (MEGHALAYA)

   After breakfast check out hotel and drive to Cherrapunjee (60 km/2 ½ hrs). Set in the dense forests of Meghalaya, this iconic bridge is made of 2 tree root entanglements. (3500 Stair have go Living roots )Image result for double Decker living roots.These living bridges are grown from a special type of rubber tree. As the roots grow, so the strength of the bridge increases. The root bridges are honoured as the Tajmahal of Meghalaya. They take around 25 years to grow and operate, but can carry the weight of 50 people and go on functioning for 500 years. then go Rainbow Falls .

3. Day 3 Shnongpdeng

   Cherrapunjee – Mawlynnong - Dawki – shnongpdend - Shillong (Meghalaya)

   After breakfast check out hotel, drive to Mawlynnong (90 km/3 hrs). Reach Mawlynnong and
   visit Mawlynnong village (The cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong, is a pleasant place where
   you can visit and unwind. The rains bring out the luscious greens of the trees and forests. The
   gorgeous green grasses do bring out the beauty of the village.), living root bridge.
   Note: It is advisable to carry packed lunch to Mawlynnong.
   After lunch drive to Dawki (35 km/1 ½ hrs) and boating at Umngot river – the crystal clear
   water river.After that go to shnongpdeng village and stay there over night .

4. Day 4 Shillong

   Shnongpdeng - Jowai

   After breakfast go to Jowai .where visit Krang suri water fall ,The walk down to Krangshuri is a pleasant descent – you begin on an open meadow and slowly climb down into more defined shrub and vegetation.
   Later drive back to Shillong . Check in hotel at Shillong. Overnightat Shillong

5. Day 5

   Shillong – Guwahati (MEGHALAYA – ASSAM)

   After breakfast, check out hotel and drive to Guwahati airport (140 Kms / 4 ½ hrs drive) for
   onward journey. En route visit kamakhya temple , Assam State Museum and Assam
   Emporium.
