Day 1 · Shillong
Pick up from Guwahati airport/ railway station and drive to Shillong.
On the first day of this trip, you will arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station from where you will be driven to Shillong. On way, you will notice the magnificent rolling hills and verdant valleys welcoming you. You will stop by the famous Umiam Lake to get enthralled by the beatific surroundings. Day 3 · Cherrapunjee
Dawki - Mawlynnong - Cherrapunji.
On the 3rd day of your trip, you will leave for Dawki and Mawlynnong after breakfast. Dawki is a small town on the border of India and Bangladesh. Here, you will see the famous suspension bridge over the Umngot river. You are bound to be amazed at the cleanliness of this river and if you choose to go for a boat ride, you will easily be able to see the bottom of the river through its crystal clear water. Your next destination will be Asia’s cleanest village- Mawlynnong where you can take a stroll and be inspired by the lifestyle of the locals. you will visit Riwai village and witness the grandeur of Single Decker Living Root Bridge. After sightseeing you will be transferred to Cherrapunji. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
