Day 1: Guwahati Railway Station /Airport - Shillong
Guwahati Shillong Tour starts from meet & Greet on arrival at the Guwahati airport/Railway Station & proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East" (120 kms 3.5 hrs). . Enroute visit Borapani Lake. Umiam Lake or Barapani - is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya, a majestic placid lake surrounded by Sylvan hills. On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Shillong Hotel
Day 2: Shillong – Cherrapunjee
After breakfast visit the Nohkalikai falls, Mawsmai cave and seven sisters’ falls which are ideal tourist destinations. Overnight at Cherrapunjee .
Day 3: Mawlynnong – Dawki -- Shillong
After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong village, considered to be the cleanest village of Asia. The route tothe village is through the winding roads and panoramic views traveling amidst the clouds in the Shillongplateau. Later trek to see the living root bridge found here (about 400 meters from the roadside). Walkaround the village and explore the lifestyle of the people of the village. vist dawki river site A small border town in the Jaintia Hills, Dawki and its famed river Umngot is a must visit if in Meghalaya. Sandwiched between India and Bangladesh Later drive to shilong.
Day 4: Shillong sightseeing
After breakfast go for shillong sight seeing at Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Lady Hydari Park, Laitumkhrah Cathedral, Wards Lake, Golf Course, State Museum and .Barapani Lake. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong – Guwahati and sightseeing
Early morning drive to Guwahati and visit Ma Kamyakha Temple and later visit the assam state zoo and evening go for the river cruise. Overnight at Guwahati. * river cruise booking is done on spot payment
Day 6: Guwahati Departure
