Day 1: Transfer to Phuntshillong

Day 2: Transfer to Thimpu

Will be transferred to Thimpu along with sigh seeing. We’ll help you take a trip to the Mini Zoo which houses the National Animal of Bhutan the “Takin”. You’re your trip worthwhile, taking the time to see these strange, quite unique animals. We’ll take you to ‘Buddha Point’ where you can view the largest sitting Buddha. The statue in the Southwestern hill of Thimphu, was built for the well being of the country and its neighboring nation. Visit ‘Simply Bhutan’, the living museum. Take a tour of Memorial Chorten, on Doeboom Lake, in the south-central part of the city. This is popularly known as ‘the most visible landmark in Bhutan.’

Day 3: Transfer to Punakha

Transfer to Punakha with sight seeing. Travel to Dochu La Pass at 3, 050 m where on a clear day you can see Eastern western Himalayas of Bhutan. Visit the famed Chimi Lhakhng, The temple of Fertility, famous by numerous young married couples visiting every year. Climb atop the Punakha fort (Dzong) which was the old capital of Bhutan and to get a stunning view of the beautiful architecture and landscape. Take a trip on the ‘Suspension Bridge’- one of the longest in Bhutan.

Day 4: Travel back to Thimpu

Will come back to Thimpu to experience more beauty of thimpu. Let’s help you start your trip with a visit to Tashichho Dzong, a Buddhist monastery and a fortress on the northern edge of Thimpu. Take a tour of the Folk Heritage Museum & the Textile Museum these museums, both of which opened in 2001, provide fascinating insights into Bhutanese material culture and way of life and is a must see when in Thimphu. National Library: The National Library was established in the late 1960s and it houses an extensive collection of Buddhist literature mostly in block-printed format and some works are several hundred years old. There is also a small collection of books in English on the ground floor mainly on Buddhism, Bhutan, the Himalayan region and neighboring countries A visit to The Painting School (National Institute of ZorigChusum), will familiarize you with craft demonstrations by students in painting, wood carving, clay sculpting, embroidery etc.

Day 5: Transfer to Bagdogra

Will be transferred back to Bagdogra for a journey back to home.
