Doodhpathri Tour Packages Itinerary

Doodhpathri, a picturesque valley in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, is a serene and unspoiled tourist destination. Its name translates to 'Valley of Milk', stemming from the milky white appearance of its swift-flowing streams. Encircled by dense forests and lush green meadows, Doodhpathri is situated at an altitude of approximately 2,730 meters above sea level and is often compared to Switzerland's pastoral landscapes. The area swarms with vibrant wildflowers during summer, creating an enchanting panorama. Local folklore suggests that the famous saint Sheikh ul-Alam grazed his cattle here, and the place holds religious significance for the locals. With activities like camping, trekking, and leisurely strolls, Doodhpathri offers an escape into the tranquillity of nature. The valley remains covered in snow during the winter months, limiting access, but unveils its true beauty during the thaw.
