Guptkashi is a picturesque town situated in the Northern Indian state of Uttarakhand, within the district of Rudraprayag. It's enshrined with immense religious significance, owing to its proximity to the sacred Kedarnath temple, one of the Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Guptkashi is known for its ancient Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, resembling the more famous shrine in Varanasi. Another significant shrine is the Ardhanarishvara Temple, which celebrates the half-male, half-female form of Lord Shiva.
