1. 1Day 1: Arrive in Cochin

   Night stay: Kochi

   Upon arrival in Cochin, a Yatra representative will be waiting to greet you and take you to the hotel. Cochin, located at the shore of Arabian Sea, is given the moniker 'Queen of the Arabian Sea'. Surrounded by the Western Ghats on the east and Arabian Sea on the west, it is one of the coveted tourist destinations of South India.
2. 2Day 2: Drive from Cochin to Thekkady (195 km/approx. 6 hours)

   Night stay: Thekkady

   Day inclusion: Breakfast, Sightseeing

   Hotel: Kerala house (★★★) or similar

   Check-out from the hotel and leave for Thekkady. It is home to the Periyar National Park, which is spread over an area of 925 sq km. With rich flora and fauna, this place is a paradise for wildlife lovers and photographers. Other than this national park, some of the other attractions of this place are Surki Dam and spice plantations. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and rest for a while. Later, go for a safari in the Periyar National Park and enjoy spice plantation tour (surcharge). Some of the popular spices grown in this region are cardamom, clove and pepper. Retire to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
